  1. This months update adds the highly requested voice message option we've been missing since we upgraded from the Xbox 360. Once you've downloaded the update you can send and recieve voice messages from both Xbox One and Xbox 360. Recording and sending a voice message is done through the snapped messages app. Another popular request was to be able to power up your console through the Xbox One Smartglass app. The Smartgalss app has been updated for all platforms (Windows, Windows phone, Android and iOS) and will now let you turn your Xbox One on and off if they're on the same network. Your Xbox One will need to be on Instant-On power mode for this to work. Next up is user selectable power modes. This update adds the option to either set your Xbox One to Instant-On power mode, which let's you use the voice command "Xbox On" to power up and download updates on the background, or Energy-Saving mode ,which shuts down your console completely in order to save power. This initial set-up feature was, untill now, only available in Europe but will now be available worldwide. Lastly we have dedicated servers for party chat. Back in March dedicated servers were set up for party chat and were made available for preview program members for testing. Now it's being expanded to everyone owning an Xbox One. These dedicated servers should resolve the problems of some people with different NAT settings not being able to use or join the party chat system. The dedicated servers will be made available to everyone over the course of a few weeks to ensure things go smoothly. What are your thoughts on these new features and fixes? Let us know down below! Thank you for reading! Source: Xbox Wire

  3. Maybe you keep losing connection during games? Or maybe you just actually quit a session early?
  4. Weren't those the wildlife creatures that we saw in one of the early Halo CE demos? If I'm correct you've added a lot more details to them though!
  5. It's just a lil' bug that got implemented in one of the recent updates. Probably a coding error.
  6. You're not the only one who sees them. It's a little bug that got implemented with one of the recent updates. Nothing to be worried about, just a minor nuisance at most.
  7. You know... That actually sounds like a darn good idea. Though keep in mind, Halowaypoint forums aren't the best place to host that kind of contest...
  8. I don't think there's a specific college course for that. I'd think general knowledge of programming and IT will get you in the right direction. At least you know WHAT you want to do with your life which is already a big step. Good luck!
  9. Downloaded CS:GO. Addictive game once you get the hang of it!

    1. Buns

      Buns

I was going to start playing it again this weekend.

  10. There is an option to mute everyone in a matchmaking lobby by default I believe. Should be under the audio options. Better safe than sorry I guess.
  11. There've been some troubles with the game since last update. I don't know the current status but 343i is working on resolving it.
  12. What if the person interrogating Halsey in the Halo 4 prologue turns out to be Ben? Or at least has something to do with him?
  13. I have never had Halo CE anniversary freeze my xbox. It might be due to your xbox getting older. Halo 4 is already pushing the xbox 360 to it's limits graphics wise and I wouldn't be surprised if anniversary does the same to older xbox 360's. Either that or your disc is dirty/scratched.
  14. I almost thought my pleas for "Keko for staff 2k15" had worked... There's always a next time... For now congrats to the one who can keep Keko from destroying any more planets! Enjoy your month in pink!
  15. To be fair some of the characters die rather instantly. Maybe you could go more in depth on things when a character dies so that the creator wouldn't feel as if his/her character died with a snap of the finger, make the death a little more valuable to the story.
  16. Not to be confused with HUNTtheTRUTH, HUNTtheSIGNAL is something entirely new. "How new?" I hear you ask. "I dunno" I must say. On a ordinary looking there was a brief moment around the 0:09 mark where you could briefly see an ONI logo with a binary code below it. This code translated to this site huntthesignal.com which redirects you to either a screen telling you you're using the incorrect platform or a countdown timer if you're using the right platform, which is your mobile phone. This countdown currently ends on the 6th of May 10:05 UTC. Ofcourse people wouldn't let it at that, after some more digging around people found the following URL's: https://www.huntthesignal.com/team https://www.huntthesignal.com/Signup https://www.huntthesignal.com/terms Which as of now show blank pages but gave you a 503 error before. The last link even gave you some terms and conditions which can be read here. From the looks of it we'll be hunting for information concerning a tournament of some sorts. All we know now is that you'll need you're mobile device or a Laptop/Desktop to complete the hunt and live in the US or UK. Slight bummer for the rest of the world... What are you're thoughts on this new hunt? Let us know down below! Thank you for reading!
  17. This might or might not be true, but still...
  18. That moment when your local government starts to use flamethrowers attatched to quad bikes instead of lawnmowers O_O

    1. Church
    2. Drizzy_Dan

      Drizzy_Dan

Soo.. Might wanna stay on the local government's good side from now on.

    3. Composite Armour

      Composite Armour

"You see Ivan, when cut grass like this..."

  19. Wanna team up for a dungeon raid? We'll slay those foul beasts! I'm a lvl 19 Archer so I hope you can tank
  20. I saw this pop up this morning when I woke up and all I could think was... I'm not that much of a mod downloader as I rarely play PC games but this just sounds like a "How to kill a modding community 101" guide. I could understand from the modders point of view that he'd like a little buck for his effort, but that can easily be done through donations DIRECTLY to the modder instead of having to pay a hefty 75% of the set price to Bethesda and Steam through the store. That 75% doesn't make it feel like supporting the modder, but makes it feel more like DLC that both Bethesda and Steam did nothing for.
