  1. I have to leave this site for awhile. I will be on of course, time to time to check in on you guys, and post news still and check pm's. I got some important matters to attend to, and just overall take a break from the site. (nothing to do with the people on here so don't worry about that). It is because i feel bad about something, but i am not worrying i amd sure i will have it around my waist again. In the mean time, i want you guys to have fun, take care and be nice to each other okay. Here is also a video for you guys to have a laugh at enjoy . Sincerly, Kill the King.
  2. I was disappointed at first, but things seem better now. I just hope they change the spartan models around a lil bit more.
  3. Well, Lots of people are against weapon skins. ( i happen to enjoy them, and (omg itz codz) no it is not, lots of games have weapon skins and they are cool. I wouldn't mind having a different color weapon in game. Plus it is plausible that camos/skins would exist in the future for weaponry, look at todays firearms, they have camos/skins. So i think it would be Cool. Honestly,i wouldn't mind a armor piece, DVD, Or a replica of Master Chief. (what Camo/Skin would be cool is sparkly green.)

Three of the controversial items from the Halo 4 reveal in the May issue of Game Informer was news of an instant respawn, a new armor ability called "Forerunner Vision" and random weapons spawns. While details on the three are still scarce, 343 Industries provided a little more clarification over the weekend that should help alleviate some of the concerns. (found this, do not know if it is entirely true or what if you already heard about it, i will post this anyways mods don't see this fit please remove. Thanks King out.) Instant Respawns The Game Informer article mentioned respawning instantly while playing the new Free-For-All multiplayer mode called Regicide. While that is the case in Free-For-All, it is not in objective based modes according to a post by 343 Industries David Ellis on NeoGAF. Forerunner Vision Forerunner Vision was initially billed as an armor ability that lets you see through walls according to the Game Informer article. While not actually saying how it works, 343's Frank O'Connor did rule out a couple of ways the ability could work. In response to a forum member saying that Forerunner Vision works like the UAV in Call of Duty to let you see where other players are without seeing them, O'Connor said, "Not really. As will become clear. I imagine a competitive player with good situational awareness would try it once and eschew it for something else." In another post, O'Connor further clarified with, "You cannot use Forerunner Vision to see players anywhere on the map. Absolutely not." Ellis also chimed in on the mystery ability by saying, "Trust me, you'll understand when you see it. Which might not be soon since we're still locking down the visuals on it." Random Weapon Spawns Moving from set weapon spawn points to random drops across the multiplayer map was also raised as a concern by vocal members of the Halo community. "The weapon drops are not 'random'," O'Connor explained. "They are telegraphed and in some ways, predictable. There is variation, however. Map control will still be key, but yes, changed. Custom games will be heavily customizeable, and initial playlists will be clean and focused. Players will not be presented with stacksof lists, but there will be variety for different tastes." Because of an arrangement with Game Informer and some of the components of the game still in development, 343 Industries can't provide all the clarification yet. However, O'Connor previously promised that more information will come soon through podcasts and other outlets.

  11. I find this utterly ridiculous, i found a article about it. Read away. Ubisoft's Innovative Rocksmith guitar technology may not be so innovative after all. Guitar Apprentice, a company that creates guitar tutorials, is accusing Ubisoft of patent infringement in its game Rocksmith for a musical instruction pertaining to users playing an instrument to audio signals. The news comes courtesy of Patent Arcade (not to be confused with Penny Arcade). Ross Dannenberg of Patent Arcade reports that "the '896 patent was only filed in October 2010, claiming priority to a provisional application file June 30, 2010, so I suspect there is going to be a validity fight based on any prior art out there." Although Guitar Apprentice is a video-based tutorial that can be downloaded on a computer or purchased on a DVD, the method of learning by playing a real guitar along to finger placement is similar in design. You can read all about USP patent 8,119,896 right here. Ubisoft is already facing Rocksmith-related lawsuits with Game Tank over gameplay technology and UK band Rocksmith for the name of the product. If anyone else has a lawsuit to file, now is the time.

  13. You can say your opinion, but way you are putting thing makes me doubt you even more. You might be skilled, but i doubt it. Way you act is childish and nothing more. If you want to debate with me go right ahead. Winning is not SKILL, you can not calculate SKILL. I agree it is the best way, but it needs to be re-worked entirely, as i said before in my previous statement. Also, how am i comparing that Cod, and Halo are alike?

  17. Yes, i agree Revelations was not the best game they have made in the series. Although, it was a good game and nice story . Also, i am so hyped for this game, and thank you for posting on this topic, it helps lots.
  18. Have you ever played, Blacklight: Tango down ? If not, you should see how bad this "forerunner vision might be" seriously. It will be over powered and unfair, and will be a big annoyance, not only to me but other players as i see it. Let's get back on topic though. Spartan ops, should be renamed differently, it does sound a bit call of duty, but as they said. "it will not be like any other title" i don't know if i believe that fully, but i trust them.

  20. Right, so for those of you who don't know, PAX East took place from the 6th of April to the 8th, during which, a new gameplay demo for Assassin's Creed III was shown. While the demo has not yet hit the internet, screenshots and information about the demo have been released to the general public. Here's the demo from a story point of view: It takes place in 1775 during the battle of Bunker Hill, with Connor's mission to assassinate a British official named John Pitcairn, who is also a Templar. As the battle commences, Connor moves throughout the American ranks trying to reach Pitcairn who was at the peak of a hill. Dodging cannon-fire, Connor decides to take a different, more indirect path towards Pitcairn, through the trees. Continuing on his way, Connor comes across a group of Redcoats. Proceeding to slaughter them, Connor continued on towards the British camp. Once there, Connor located Pitcairn and made his way towards him, before using his tomahawk to kill him. A nice little demonstration. Seeing as the time span of the game is from 1753 to 1783, looks like this was somewhere in the middle, leaning more towards the end. From a gameplay point of view, from the demo we learn that: Connor has a different moveset from Ezio and Altaïr. For example, the player can choose to slide under a low hanging branch or vault over it. Tree gameplay has been shown in-depth, how Connor moves through the trees and how he uses the branches to traverse gaps and such. It was also stated by the developer that the tree climbing mechanism was made to be very realistic and not "Tarzan like". The hidden blade is in the game and will continue to play a large part in the game, putting to ground the rumors that said the tomahawk would replace the hidden blade. Demonstration of Ubisoft's new and more powerful game engine that allows them to portray up to 2,500 NPC's on screen at one time. Demonstration of the new and more fluid combat mechanisms. Multiple-counters were shown as well as a feature that allows Connor to take an enemy hostage, and use him as a human shield. The hidden gun will also make a reappearance. New gadgets were also shown in action like the rope dart, which Connor uses to string up his enemies. New stealth elements have been added. For example, while walking slowly, Connor will automatically move stealthily such as ducking into bushes and staying behind cover. Something known as a Stalking Zone, similar to a hiding spot was unveiled but the details are a bit unclear. That's about all that was shown in the PAX East 2012 demo, and I'm not sure if the demo will be shown online. Lastly I leave you with some screenshots taken from the demo.
