  1. Three-way tie for me: Burial Mounds Waterworks Containment
  2. It has been said that the DMR's bloom is now only noticeable at long range. The Magnum still looks to have the same amount of bloom as Reach, however.
  3. The game is far beyond that stage in development, content like this can not simply be added over night, or through DLC.
  4. If armor affected hitboxes, eventually everyone would only be wearing the smallest armor, limiting individuality. Otherwise, armor pieces providing additional effects on gameplay do not fit in with Halo 4, as you can already select armor abilities as well as armor specialties.
  5. The only way it would work is if it ran on rocket fuel, otherwise it would not operate in the vacuum of space. Rocket fuel is highly unstable and unsuited for common atmospheric flight. So no, we do not currently have the technology.

    SMG

^ I agree, the SMG functioned well in Halo 3 as a single-wield weapon. When available, I always traded it with my AR in BR-start games.
  7. I really expected this to be a troll thread. Thank you for the screens. The halo community is so much more honest than they were in the Halo 2/3 days :')
  8. I did not the like Armor Effects in Halo Reach. They seemed inconsistent to the tone of Halo's multiplayer; it was never aimed at being playful or comical, but then someone dies and cheering and confetti pop out of their heads? It ruined part of the immersion for me. I like what Immortal Reaver suggested. Armor Effects that actually make sense and don't drawn extraordinary negative attention to yourself.
  9. I was personally hoping for a color wheel or RGB slider, instead of the same old 20-something preset colors. I prefer my Spartan to look more like a soldier and less like a pokemon, but in every halo game there have only been a few browns greens and grays, and a whole lot of rainbow. Unfortunately this seems to be the case in Halo 4 as well.
  10. What Frankie was talking about and the blurb about the Warthog are not related. He was referring to the ability to choose vehicle drops for BTB-type games, but I don't think the article is hinting at customizing vehicles or anything to that extent. It's just a quick overview of how the UNSC uses the Warthog and what types are utilized.
  11. I would like the option to choose first person or third person for all vehicles and turrets. But there is probably balancing issues with that, so it is understandable if it is not included.
  12. I never understood the concept of bloom. It tries to simulate recoil when they could easily produce real recoil by making the reticle rise during sustained fire (like the SMG in Halo 2). That way the player could manually counteract this by pushing down on the stick and staying on target, instead of leaving up to blind luck where your shots go. I don't know why this hasn't been done.
  13. That doesn't sound right. Of all things, why would you try to replicate rock paper scissors, a game of luck? The AAs should be balanced with eachother, not one cancels this and another cancels that.
  14. I miss a lot of the BTB maps from Halo 2. Containment, Burial Mounds, and Waterworks were some of several great maps that were widely enjoyed in Halo 2, but never saw remakes.
