Description:

This map is like the famous drug wars map in Halo:Reach. Blue players spawn upstairs in a small "stash house" shown below in the pictures. They race downstairs and teleport to the cave on Ravine. Once there they can use the mongoose and warthog to try and work their way to the base and plant the bomb in the hallway. But, if they die, they won't respawn until the round is over. The red teams spawns in a small room underneath the base. Just like the blues they have interesting classes to choose from. Once out of the room they must defend their base from the blues. All players have 150% damage resistance and the bomb carrier has active camo. (8-16 players) (16 optimum)

 

The pictures show the Red base, the stash house with the roof off (not in gameplay), and on (how it will be in gameplay), the plant site for the bomb, and the cave where the blues teleport.

The pictures aren't very high quality because I don't have my xbox hooked to a computer and my camera is not very good. The shots look much better in the game.

Would've been better if you went into theater for the screenshots.

 

In any case, it seems like a form of 'Invasion' gametype? Too bad we don't have it. I like the aesthetics in the last picture, but I don't understand why there's a kill ball.

 

Is the gameplay very competitive? And how do you use your bomb?

I actually used the Grifball gametype, but only had the red capture point accessible. It was as close as I could get to the 1 bomb assault game that I wanted. Sadly, In Grifball weapons are not allowed on the field. So I had to make custom classes instead of leaving weapons on tables like I wanted to.

 

I was having trouble with the last tower when building the base map. So I put a kill ball inside of the antenna because I had no other ideas. I still don't have any other ideas on what to put there so I'm hoping it's good enough.

 

I actually haven't had the chance to test the game out with 16 members like I wanted. So I don't know if it is very competitive. I'm just assuming that THFE will find that out when they test it.

 

The goal is to sneak or force the ball past the enemies and score it in the hallway shown in the second picture. The ball will spawn in the stash house on the capture plate on the lower middle part of the second-to-last picture. Once the holder teleports then they make their way to the hallway and score it. There are two rounds. If the other team wants to try attacking then the game would have to be reloaded because of lack of a better gametype. I guess the ball is the bomb that blows up the base, or the drugs that need to get inside the factory.

 

I would like it if THFE features this but I doubt it will happen. I need a few more people like you the give me some feedback so I can make the map better. I would really appreciate it if you could download the map and give me your opinion. I will do the same if you have a map I could try.
