I don't think fights on Xbox Live would have a major direct correlation to how much money Mircrosoft make. However fights over the internet are liable to help Microsoft make money by giving free publicity.

Anyway back on topic. If it is a legall fight between two companies then perhaps MS could make money depending if they win. However if it's MLG then no, I don't think so as it is MS who sponsors MLG.
