Personally I like Halo 2 and 3 (I don't say that i don't like other halo's music) but I also liked Gears of War and MW2 ost.I forgot Assassin's Creed 2 and Halo 4! I do hear music from other games as well like Modern warfare 2, the Gears of War theme, I enjoyed some from Assassin's Creed, but what I really have to give credit to the music from a game series besides Halo, is Kingdom Hearts!
