  1. Dear Friends, It has been a while since I've last spoken to all of you. So hello! I miss you all! It is just that the college process and school is extremely busy right now, so my real life is just overwhelmingly busy. I can't find the time to come onto here to catch up. A question I had for all of you though, I am planning on getting a new console for myself as I find many switching to the Xbox one or the PS4. I am especially a fan of Destiny, so that is the main game I would be playing, If I were to switch, which console should I get? Thanks!

  6. A brand new entry into the Deus Ex series, Mankind Divided, has been revealed over on NeoGaf! I must admit, Square Enix was seeming a bit dry as of late, but this news looks to have flipped that on it's head. Someone on NeoGaf.com revealed screenshots and a gameplay description of a new Deus Ex game called Mankind Divided. The game will center around Adam Jensen, the protagonist of the previous game Human Revolution. The plot details are light, but it is known that since Human Revolution, augmented and ordinary people have been separated into social castes, and this leads to conflict. As in the past, putting in more effort will reward more payout as your actions affect the course of the game, so going stealth is likely the best option. The AI has been heavily improved to make open combat a bit trickier as the new system's tactics will give players a run for their money. A host of old abilities have been improved, including some new blade/crossbow tricks, and a shield that Adam can utilize. There will be no transfer from your previous game, so as far as story goes, most decisions likely won't matter. The game will release on an unknown date as of yet for Xbox One, PS4, and the PC, no last generation launch due to the game's prowess. View attachment: xaFXddA.jpg I'm a huge Deus Ex fan, so I'm really excited to see where Mankind Divided goes! What do you guys think of this info, are you a fan too? Let me know down below! 9. If you're interested in picking up a PS4 this holiday season for LittleBigPlanet 3, a bundle has been listed that might be right up your alley! LittleBigPlanet is a universally praised game, even if you're a hardcore PC elitist who lights every PS4 they see, you most likely like LBP, and with the third coming out, it's no surprise people are excited. Amazon.co.uk listed a bundle today including a PS4 and, you guessed it, LittleBigPlanet 3! It will be available for £386.78, or about $617 in US dollars for people to get a scale of the price. It includes the typical features of a PS4 bundle, the game, a jet black controller, the headset (ear pieces), and of course the jet black console. The bundle will launch in Europe on November 21st, 2014, and it is unknown if the console bundle will become available in the American regions any time soon. It seems lately European countries have gotten the better end of the stick in terms of bundles, with a Driveclub bundle, a TLOU bundle, and of course, the White PS4 Destiny bundle with the logo inscribed on the console. View attachment: 2679694-lbpps41.jpg Are you picking up this bundle, or just the game itself? Will you be angered if the bundle is exclusive to Europe? Let me know below! Thanks so much for reading guys and gals!
  10. My first thread back in many months, hope it's in the right place. Anyway... So, just to throw out there, for the past 4 months I genuinely have had no life (Don't worry I have a job now, about time as my family would say). I've been playing Destiny for most days of the week for hours a day. Just gonna skip the parts where I say I've done everything and have Maxed out TWO characters to lvl 32 (Well I did until I deleted an armour piece by mistake, now 31 and a half) and the other 31. Just to add, it has basically got to the point where I smash the raids quickly on Tuesdays, including the weekly Nightfall and Strikes so I can just get them over and done with. What I'm trying to get at is if anyone is looking for a guy who's done both raids a million times and has good knowledge of the game, and is looking for someone good to play with by all means add me on Playstation 4! I'm looking for more people to play with and also to help eachother out with whatever (Even if it's just patrol or even just someone to play a little Crucible with, whatever really). My PSN hasn't changed, it's still ShockGazm. I also have GTA 5 just to add.
  11. I'm really curious as to who plays Warframe here. I've been thinking about making a PS4 group here at 343i CF dedicated to Warframe for about 2 weeks now. For those who haven't heard of Warframe, I'll drop a random gameplay link so you can check it out. I think Warframe is an amazing game, it has a great amount of customization, lots of weapons which include, primary assault rifles, secondary weapons that include pistols, a melee weapon, various characters to choose from, perks to improve your all around character and weapons, special abilities etc and it's free to play for PS4 and PC. So, basically I'm asking, have you played Warframe before? And if you have, do you like/enjoy playing it? Also, about the videos, I believe the customization video is the PC version, whilst it's similar to the PS4 version, there are differences, obviously the PC version will be better but overall it has all the same stuff. Overall I just want to know how many of you play this game. Here's some random Warframe gameplay. Here's a good video on customization, the guy explains it pretty well too.
  12. Finally, the dimming promise of heists in Grand Theft Auto V: Online seems to be coming to fruition as Rockstar has confirmed the feature will be added in the first major update for the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game. You may hear rumor of the fabled legend of heists in Grand Theft Auto Online, how people ranted in droves when the feature was never implementing, and how it soon became rumor and speculation. Well, seems the legend of the implementation of this heist is coming to life as GameInformer.com reports. They confirmed, as Rockstar did, the game would implement heists when the first major update on current gen appears. When and what else is in this update though, Rockstar decided to remain ambiguous on, stating the usual slogan of, 'we'll have more to reveal on that soon' sadly. This update will be available on all consoles (and eventually PC) so if you still play on PS3/Xbox 360 don't fret. As for those of you who are upgrading, you're making a very valuable choice with the added additions of 32 player Online, new wildlife and environment details, upgraded visuals, and of course, first person gameplay. The game launches next week on Tuesday, November 18th for Xbox One and PS4 for those of you interested in picking it up on those platforms. For you PC gamers, you'll have to wait until January 2015 for that version of the game, or of course, buy a console. View attachment: GTA-Online.jpg What's your take on heists being released so late despite being promised over a year ago? Let me know down below gamers and gamettes! See you all next time heist news comes in.
  13. Today, Bethesda and Zenimax announced that The Elder Scrolls Online will be coming to consoles free of charge with the new Tamriel Unlimited Edition! If you don't remember, I did an article about a week back stating how Bethesda was hinting at the console versions of The Elder Scrolls Online being Free-To-Play, turns out, I was right. Today Bethesda announced over at PlayStation's (no word on the Xbox version yet) that the game will be launching this June 9th, earlier than expected, with the ability to play without a subscription fee. If you're wondering how much that saves you, consider the fact that the game costed $15 a month on top of your regular Xbox Live/PSN fee. As well, it has been decked out with a new white box art compared to the old standard version. Word on whether the PC version will be experiencing the free-to-play update is unknown, but likely, and same goes for the Xbox version, though both are nearly confirmed. Pre-orders for the Tamriel Unlimited Edition have not been updated yet, though I'll link them if they go up soon. View attachment: esof2p.png I'm quite pleased that Bethesda is doing this, though I can understand why PC players might feel that they've been used as scapegoats and beta testers for an unfinished and fee-ridden game. So if you feel that way, it's understandable, I won't argue, still great for console players though. What are your thoughts, will you be picking ESO up now? Let me know below, and thanks for reading! By the way I wanna thank Yang Xiao Long for linking this to me!

  16. Rumors have been going around that there is a possibility for cross-platform gaming with the next gen consoles. For example if some players are playing Destiny on PlayStation Network and other players are playing it on Xbox Live then they'd be able to play together because they're playing the same game. Now, I don't think that they'd do this simply because of the competition between the two gaming consoles and although it'd unite a gaming community, that's not what business is about. Keep in mind that these games are being held on the same developer servers. Here's some things that others had to say: Azaxx says, "Across PS4 and Xbox One, it has a very slim chance. It works because of being consoles, but may not happen because Sony/MS. And PC to consoles simply will not happen. Way to OP for PC to be playing." Halo5 follower said, "well, there was a rumor that the PS3 game, Dust514, would be able to play with Xbox. However, that was just on Youtube, so the reliability of it was pretty low. If microsoft can talk to Sony then a guess things may start to happen..." Contrary to the beliefs above Ledgend 1221 had this to say, "With Games like ESO, I'd say there's a chance it will happen. At least I hope so, it would be fun to duke out the rivalry in an online arena. PCs should remain separate, too much of a gap." Archangel Tyrael chimed in about PC cross platforming as well as console and said, "I don't think cross platform servers will be done. Mainly for PC; PC will dominate for these various reasons: 1.) Easier and precise aiming. 2.) Modding can be done easier and hackers. This will be a serious problem. 3.) More control. 4.) Putting PC players and consoles players together would cause a lot of butthurt fanboys and unfair gameplay. That's just for the PC. Now I am not saying it's impossible for Xbox and PS to share servers, but in my opinion, it wont happen. Xbox and PS are rival consoles. Not only that, there is already servers for Xbox and Sony; that leads me to think they will be to their own console. While, it might be nice it just wont happen and shouldn't because of the last PC reason -- even for MMO's like: TESO, and anymore that are to come." TexHellsAngel376 has a similar belief to mine and told me, "I don't think MS and Sony will stop fighting enough to do it." Will the dream of cross-platform gaming ever become a reality? Discuss and leave your thoughts below.

  18. Xbox One can read the HDMI signal from a PS4 and thus allow Microsoft's console to host Sony's, an executive has confirmed. Because of the Xbox One's HDMI-in port, users will be able to feed the PS4's HDMI cable into the rival system. The on-screen result would be a PS4 running within an Xbox One overlay. Microsoft executive Albert Panello confirmed that Xbox One users could theoretically multi-task between both consoles. "Any application can be snapped to a game... so if you wanted to be playing Ryse and Killzone at the same time, you could snap that," he said, as quoted by Gamespot. Killzone is a PlayStation-owned IP, with a new instalment in the series due for the PS4's launch. Panello's comments also imply that any games console outputting through an HDMI cable can be displayed on the Xbox One, from Xbox 360 to PS3. The Xbox executive, who was speaking to gathered journalists at the Tokyo Game Show, also warned users against vertically standing their Xbox Ones. How nice will it be to sit back, relax, and play both consoles without even thinking? Full articles at CVG
  19. Hello everyone, I'm LEGENDARY ENGRAM, and welcome to the Weekly News Wrap-Up. I just want to let everyone know next week I'm taking an extremely important set of tests that will help determine what High School I end up in, and another advanced test a few weeks later, so do wish me luck! Anyway, let's get down to our spooky set of articles. This is gonna be a bit weird as two articles are on the same game, but keep reading and you'll understand. View attachment: WNW 101114.JPG Sunset Overdrive Gets Exclusive Content for Day One, Season Pass, and Pre-Orders! Sunset Overdrive looks to be Insomniac Games' next big hit, with explosive action, hilarious humour, and crisp visuals. GameInformer.com reports if you pre-order, get the day one edition, or get the season pass you'll be one of the elite entitled to more goodies in the game at launch. One such example is pre-ordering on Xbox Live, which will net you Acordes de la Meurte, a guitar with melting candles littered on it, and the Hangover, a prickly spiked dumb-bell bat. Pre-ordering will entitle you to two weapons and a costume of the game's mascot. There are others exclusive to certain retailers, but the Season Pass also has a few interesting additions. Purchasing will grant you access to six outfits, two weapon modifiers, and two traps. View attachment: 2555793-sunset-overdrive-e3-propain-launcher.jpg Are you angered these bonuses aren't in the game even though they're already made? Let me know below! Dragon Age: Inquisition PC Specs Revealed Dragon Age: Origins held some promise, which was quickly squashed away by it's successor, Dragon Age II, and will hopefully be somewhat restored in the third, Dragon Age: Inquisition. IGN.com uploaded the game's PC specs if you're looking to buy the game on it's best looking and running platform. You'll need a minimum of Windows 7 or 8.1, and a recommended at the same level. There is an 8 GB of system memory recommended label, but 4GB is fine if you want a minimal experience. 512 MB Graphical Memory is the minimum for the game, but in a massive jump, 3 GB memory is recommended. Hard Drive space is the same for both, 26 GB. Graphics and CPU of course range, but it's recommended you have a more up to date one like an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660. View attachment: 2623524-da3.jpg Are you purchasing the game on PC or console, if at all? Debate below! Dragon Age: Inquisition 900p on Xbox One, 1080p on PS4 Another interesting piece of news on Inquisition, the game's developers revealed that the game will run lower on the Xbox One than on the PS4. GameSpot.com has the story, where they report that the PS4 version will run at a full 1080p, and the Xbox One version at only 900p. Bioware had this to say, "We maximized the current potential of each platform." basically meaning currently that's all they can push out of both systems. Inquisition isn't the only game to be skimped on the Xbox One, games like Assassin's Creed Unity and Sunset Overdrive have been graphically cut because of a lack of good hardware. View attachment: bloghome_ps4_hires.jpg Is only 900p fine with you, or do you expect more from next gen? Discuss below! Welp, that's all for this week, I'm Legendary Engram, signing out! It seems lately European countries have gotten the better end of the stick in terms of bundles, with a Driveclub bundle, a TLOU bundle, and of course, the White PS4 Destiny bundle with the logo inscribed on the console. 21. One of the main questions that have been buzzing around while we await to get out first main look at the next gen consoles is what will the next gen xbox and playstation's graphics will be like? Well we won't have to wait too long as E3 is on the horizon but in the mean time Ubisoft has given their view on what to expect. This article is from Examiner In the June 2013 issue of Game Informer, Mallat discussed in an interview that Sony and Microsoft’s next-generation consoles – PS4 and the Next Xbox, Xbox 720, Durango or whatever you like to call it – will “blow us away” with their visuals. Although the graphics will be impressive, he believes these systems offer more than solely stunning visuals. "I think minds will be blown by the graphics as a hook, as an entry door," stated Mallat, but continued to share that there is more to these consoles than graphics. One of the greatest benefits the next-generation brings is freedom to developers. "I think that amount of power gives a lot of freedom to our creators and then it's up to them to tailor and tame that power to what suits the game the best." "To me, what's lying beneath that or beyond that will keep our players involved. When you think about that, even on current generation systems it always takes some time for developers to tame the machine - especially the PlayStation 3." As Sony has demonstrated, social interaction will play a pivotal role in the PS4’s online infrastructure. Mallat believes social interaction and connectivity will be what makes these system a true next-generation experience. "This time we may see creating amazing games on the visual side of things very quickly," said Mallat, "but to me the social complement and connected thing will be the next-gen experience compared to the current generation system.” "That being said, you'll be blown away by graphics."

  24. The highly praised action game from 2012, Sleeping Dogs, is coming to next generation consoles this fall according to an Amazon listing! When it comes to 'listings' on games that aren't confirmed, most of all we see is a brief extra option to a certain game, for example a recent Halo The Master Chief Collection listing for PC, however, today this isn't the case. Amazon.com has listed the popular action-adventure shooter from 2012 known as Sleeping Dogs. The game is the full package, including an art book, DLC, and a redesigned cover that looks to also have a slipcase to it. It is incredibly rare to actually have a listing show the entire new cover and features and not be officially confirmed by the company yet. However, the listing is still there and will likely stay, meaning Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition, is confirmed! The game is listed as $59.99 USD and will launch October 14th for retail and possibly download soon after. If you pre-order now from Amazon, you will get the exclusive concept art book alongside the game, it is unknown if this book will also be available at retail.
