  13. Heyy, welcome back to the Weekly Site Poll! I've taken it upon myself to continue the work of Cabus the Graest. He's been AFK for some time. Also, a name change is in order since I plan for this to be a TRUE weekly poll: not every other week like the previous poll series (it did have 'semi' in it's title). The previous poll topic - 'Why did you get into / What caused you to enter gaming?' - is here if you'd like to read the responses. Anyway, this week's question I hope isn't too broad. It's somewhat summer themed, because I know I definitely did this when I had nothing else to do during summer... Have you ever binge-played a game or games for hours/days/weeks on end, and which ones would they be? This thread will be locked a week from now on Saturday 5/28, so get your exposition in while you can! And feel free to suggest the topic for the NEXT Weekly Site Poll in your response! DS, out!
  14. GamerTag: CaptainDireWolf Map: Summer Olympics Gametype: "Gold Medal" (Instant win Strongholds) Players: (2-16) though 16 is best for lots of action (it IS the Olympics after all) Forgehub link for more pics: http://www.forgehub.com/maps/summer-olympics.2500/ Welcome to the Summer Olympics! This year its hosted on Reach and competitors have to conquer 6 major sports to win the gold medal: Track and Field, Mountain Biking, Rock Climbing, Gymnastics, Sailing/boating, and Swimming/Diving. Competitors begin with the "shot put" (use grenades to blow up explosives down the field), and then take off running on the track to overcome the 1st set of hurtles. Next comes the long jump, 2nd set of hurtles, and high jump. Mountain biking consists of riding mongooses through a bumpy terrain to reach "the Wall". Be the first to ascend it and take the water slide down to the gymnastics chamber. Conquer the bars and you will reach the boats (yea I know, mongooses had to do; a kind of waverunner action). Finally, take the diving platforms or simply swim across the pool the quickest to obtain 1st place and gold. As always I welcome suggestions to make my games better so feel free to comment below. Add my GT: CaptainDireWolf and hit the download button above. Let the games begin! More pictures:
  15. Today, Bethesda and Zenimax announced that The Elder Scrolls Online will be coming to consoles free of charge with the new Tamriel Unlimited Edition! If you don't remember, I did an article about a week back stating how Bethesda was hinting at the console versions of The Elder Scrolls Online being Free-To-Play, turns out, I was right. Today Bethesda announced over at PlayStation's YouTube.com (no word on the Xbox version yet) that the game will be launching this June 9th, earlier than expected, with the ability to play without a subscription fee. If you're wondering how much that saves you, consider the fact that the game costed $15 a month on top of your regular Xbox Live/PSN fee. As well, it has been decked out with a new white box art compared to the old standard version. Word on whether the PC version will be experiencing the free-to-play update is unknown, but likely, and same goes for the Xbox version, though both are nearly confirmed. Pre-orders for the Tamriel Unlimited Edition have not been updated yet, though I'll link them if they go up soon. I'm quite pleased that Bethesda is doing this, though I can understand why PC players might feel that they've been used as scapegoats and beta testers for an unfinished and fee-ridden game. So if you feel that way, it's understandable, I won't argue, still great for console players though. What are your thoughts, will you be picking ESO up now? Let me know below, and thanks for reading! By the way I wanna thank Yang Xiao Long for linking this to me! This post has been promoted to an article
