  1. 343 I would like you to understand your base of players is off of a competitive community! We do not like sprint at all... It makes the game play different we do not need it this is not COD the game does not have 10 second kill times. We are looking at about a 1 minute to 1 and a half kill time.. We don't want a super fast paced game cause halo is not meant to be that way. You need to listen to the pro player cause I guarantee if you put sprint your gonna end up with a bad outcome selling your game! Even enhancing the base speed to compensate for the sprint would be better.
  2. Halo 4 was some pluses and so negatives. Pros- -campaign was pretty good for the most part -graphics -spartan: ops, its like a new campaign every week -regicide -flood skin is great -forge is easier for a newbie Cons- -griffball - huge disappointment there. I expected many gametypes similar to reach. I expected many variations in maps but all i got were a bunch of squares with several minor changes. Even halo 3 had a map variation better than that -ordinance it promotes camping and gets rid of skill. In other halos you had to know the map if you wanted to win. You needed to know where power weapons would be found unlike now it just shows you where they are. -load outs unfair and unbalanced if u play longer you get better weapons. Everybody should start a match with the same guns. -skins should have a seperate section so i can put any skin on any armor. -mantis is over powered -no race -no multi team -no invasion -no assault -no percision forging -magnets dont always work right and can leave holes in maps -not enough small maps -not balanced starting points in maps *SPOILER ALERT* - master chief shows his eyes in the legendary ending. If any more of master chief is shown without armor it will be my last halo. Unfortunatly there are more negatives than positives. some could get fixed others will not atleast until the next halo. This is just my opinion and you may feel free to voice yours.

All of the ADVANCED games will be played on sixteen 22 inch ASUS monitors (the official MLG monitor used during the 2011 season). Most of the BEGINNER games (if not all depending on the amount of registered individuals/teams) will be played on eight 48 inch plasma screens. Although you are welcome to bring your own controller and/or headset, you are not required to bring any personal equipment! Wireless controllers will be provided in exchange for photo identification. Register at Pixel Battles anytime between now and the times indicated above. Although registering before the day of the tournament is not required, it greatly aids us in the preparations and allows us to begin and run the tournament with less delay. Please follow the facebook event posts for more information regarding the game types, game settings, and maps that will be used for the events. Do you know someone who may be interested? Send an invite or pass on the word! I would truly appreciate it! A good turnout means better competition and better cash prizes. Have questions? Feel free to post them here, on Pixel Battle's facebook page, or message me personally! www.pixelbattles.com www.facebook.com/pixelbattlesgaming The gametypes are MLG v1 settings for everything, although those that choose to play in beginners will only be playing slayer. "Beginner" is at your judgment, but remember the big cash prizes and good competition are in advanced, so there is really no incentive to lie. Can't wait to see you guys there. ( 2v2 is slayer only as well of course MLG Gamebattles Rules although Adrift/Solace are in rotation as game 3 maps if the tournament fills up, since we will need to do some losers rounds split screen if we have a full house. Thankyou Director looks much nicer, doing things this early in the morning can be sloppy.

    Balancing

Im sure many of you have noticed some balancing issues with halo 4 lets start of with the DMR the dmr: the gun is so overpowered and is now overused this is one of the weak side of loadouts since you recoil everytime you get shot depending on what weapon your getting hit with so everytime your hit by the DMR. the damage or recoil you get is overdone they need to fix this... now for matchmaking ok matchmaking is still nice, you find player, play with people etc... but what about balancing it? in halo 3 it pairs you up with players depending on your skill... with halo 4... you are either.. A. paired up with someone that is too good B. paired up with bad players (especially in team based games) C. in team slayer games the good and the bad are separated (i.e your with the newbies while the pros are teamed up) maps: the maps are.... fairly good however there is one map i like to discuss.... Comples aaah yes complex its infamous for having the wall glitch when you play oddball and infection but here is the issue with it... its made for campers the buildings are small in the inside so you and your team could just take a close range weapons and just camp inside (I had a discussion with this with some players in another site) for exmaple you know that building with the ramp? and has that bridge attached to it? yeah... a camping spot during slayer it was impossible to get inside without them just ambushing you (they were using close range weapons) I guess thats it.... only three issues
  5. 343 I am an individual fan and this probably means nothing to you. Please bring back a ranking system where I can brag to my friends. I loved Halo 1-3. Precisely because of their competitive aspects. When reach came out I played it for a month or two before moving back to 3. I still have not gotten a 50 in halo 3 but I love trying because it feels like it actually means something. Whenever I see someone with lots of credits on Reach i think, wow, that kid plays a lot of halo. Will people sell accounts? Maybe but that doesn't hurt anyone. Sure its annoying but who cares if some ******* can get a new account and get a 50, because if they didn't earn it they will lose it. I am so in love with the halo series. Reach was like a cheating girlfriend. But if you guys bring back a game with a good ranking system I will be loyal to 343 forever. Also competitive rating systems solve weapon power discrepancies, if you weight weapons in a way that is strange the good players will figure out the best way to use those weapons and thus solve the problem. This was super stream of consciousness, but seriously make a ranking system where I can feel good about my rank, and I will dedicate all my time to your game. Good luck fellahs can't wait for 4, pregnantteen666
