343 released a new video on their YouTube Channel regarding the episodic mini series Halo: Nightfall. So without further ado let's watch: Summary of info: Locke is the Commander of a special forces unit of ONI operatives. We hear that he already has (some) Spartan qualities, and his character will go through a decent amount of change from the beginning of the series to it's end, forming his character for Halo 5. We also see that the Covenant will play some sort of role as a Spirit drop ship and a few Elites are seen. The thing that really catches my eye is at 1:18 in the video, you see a mass of smaller life forms forming a silhouette of a human being, before breaking off each from each other and scuttling down the hill. At first glance I believed them to be flood infection forms, but whatever this is is much smaller then that. It is a high unknown. So what do you believe this life form to be? A behind the scenes video for Halo: Nightfall was released on 343i's Youtube channel, and it contains new and interesting info about the movie's synopsis, along with the location of it's shooting. Video time! Cool stuff. What do y'all think this new info could point to? Could the baking from the sun mean no flood because they all got cooked!? EDIT: Also note that beautiful re-mastering of the song Impend from Halo 2: anniversary at the beginning. It's grand for the time we get to hear it.

Ridley Scott Working on Halo Digital Feature With Microsoft

Ridley Scott, known for his work on Alien and Blade Runner, will be working with 343i, Microsoft, and other legendary film industry names to produce a separate Halo Digital Feature. The Halo TV Series has been under wraps for quite some time, and rumors began circulating as to whether a film might be in production. According to TheWrap.com, we have a separate feature on the way for the Halo franchise. Listed people include the legendary Ridley Scott, Paul Scheuring, and David Zucker, taking on the roles of Executive Producer, Writer, and Assistant to the Executive Producer. Sergio Mimica-Gezzan, known well for Battlestar Galactica, is confirmed to direct the feature. This will likely not hit the big screen and remain as a digital or DVD copy at best. Additionally, Microsoft said that this film is, “completely separate from the premium Halo television series executive produced by Steven Spielberg, which is still on track.” as well they stated that the plot would follow a, “surgically-enhanced super soldier who is not Master Chief”.
