  1. I'm Absolute Dog, actual name is Todd. Live in Florida, 48 yrs old, enjoy fine Belgium ales and Crown Royal(only on an occasion), like to hunt and fish, prior service 82nd Airborne, remodel houses, and used to work in graphic design and sell high end imported beers.
  2. Jester I like throwing out new ideas as well, but this one I can not get behind in any way, sorry. This is Halo, not COD, and it does not need to take from any other game, it is the game. Putting these "customized" weapons in the game is so far away from the original Halo line. The human weapons a Spartan uses are based on actual weapons in the real world, it is an inherent part of the game. Maybe if there is some Forerunner weapon that has this quality in the story line or campaign I could see it. Don't feel bad, no one went for my "Spudgun" idea, lol!
  3. How about this, the longer you use the AA(regardless of which one it is), the more of a drain it takes. Amount of drain = length of use. You could even see the loss as it happens and when you release, that amount of shield is removed instantly.
  4. Well for me this idea was a compromise, not a way to make them even stronger. You may not be aware of it, but I really do not like or want AA's in H4.
  5. ....who finally pinned this story...
  6. We should see how many threads we can legitimately work the "Klondike Bar" comment into.
  7. Would love to see the video of that one, lol.
  8. Okay............"Batman"!
  9. I haven't heard anything about a beta, figured that was unique to Reach. In some ways it may have created more problems with the fans than is resolved.
  10. Looking forward to bouncing some ideas around with you in the future.
  11. Twam, with all due respect, you have to use a more contrasting color for your type. I can not ever read it.

  12. My name is Absolute Dog and I'm 6'4" tall with brown hair looking to meet single women between the age of.............sorry, wrong website.
  13. It was sometime around Christmas 2001. I remember my nephews going nuts trying to get me into their room to try this game. "It's the best ever!", they said. I visited a lot with them and we played it till our fingers hurt and we could not stay awake any longer. My sister, their mom, used to call me the biggest kid ever. We used to go to their friends house, link some XBOX's together and have at it. They used to own me so bad it wasn't funny! It was the only game they could really beat me at and they let me know it! We still talk about those days as some of our best memories from their childhood. I will be 49 yrs old when HCE is released, may even take the system and game over to my nephews, have a beer with them and kick back and play! It is fitting the franchise has continued so it can offer more memorable moments like those to so many.
  14. I would Tea Bag my oldest brother for a Klondike bar. Repeatedly for a Klondike Krunch!
  15. You want to see a good movie that's not quite in that genre? Rent "Gridlocked" starring Tupac Shakur!
  16. From the moment I first played part of the campaign on my nephews XBOX I was hooked. I have played video games since Pong, yes Pong! I have owned nearly every game counsel ever made and played so many stand up arcade games in local game rooms, bowling alleys and malls than I will ever be able to remember. The were some great games that had built in story lines, were adapted from movies or just stood on their own. Tron, Space Invaders, Galaga, Doom, Mortal Kombat, Tekken, Syphon Filter, Legacy of Kain series, and the Bond series are just a few of them. But when Halo hit the market all else that stood before it seemed to fade away as I became engrossed in the game series. Other than a quick sampling of MW, which I never took to, I have not played another FPS online since my first exposure to Halo! It has earned more than a cult status with it's fans. We were all owe a great deal of thanks to whomever first read the novel and worked to make this game a reality. I have continued to play long after my nephews lost interest. Point is, Halo is the best, will always be the best and live on long after others fade away. The story, the campaign, the muliti-player! It has no equal!
  17. It would be nice to see the terminals play a more important role in campaign. Having direct information provided about future Halo events and Halo 4 would be a great way to entice the player. They may even contain some of the actual imagery from the Halo 4 campaign is my hope. However they play out, I look forward to the CEA campaign. Since I already own Reach an will at that point have the new maps, I will have the chance to play MM on the original maps from Halo CE. Looking forward to it!
  18. Send a friend request. When I get on we will try it and see if we play well together. This is my actual gamer tag.
  19. I spent a lot of time in a thread in Bungie looking for a missing armor/helmet Easter Egg. It was the first time I ever got involved in a hunt for one. It was fun! this is the link to the thread, maybe it will spawn some more ideas and show you what was tried. existing thread in Bungie The OP made continuous update in his original posts, so what you see there is a culmination of one of the original ideas.
  20. Absolutely not! I am a camper by any stretch of the imagination. I move, I play. I will no scope beat you down as much as I will long shot you. It just depends on the map and flow of the game. I do keep an eye on the clock and know the spawn times of all power weapons. I call out to my team when the spawns are coming up. It is first come first serve in my opinion. In my group of friends we do each gravitate towards weapons we are good at or like to use, so depending on who's there that game, we discuss it in the pregame lobby.
  21. Someone ate their Wheaties today! elite this really is turning into a good forum. When I had played those few games of mine, especially in Ghost Town, I would camp near the mongoose spawn in the hole in the floor. I racked up some serious kills, medals, etc. Keep up the good work here man. I am not considered a camper by any means, but Infection just begged for it.
