I really didn't like the Didact. He controls hordes of menacing metal monsters, and he sics them on humanity because he's mad. The Prophets had a more sinister motive than just revenge. And he has mustache-twirler tendencies.

I do believe the bird symbolizes something. I've read books that contain guardians who are often represented as birds. Maybe the Promethean bird is a guardian of some sort?

Halo 5 might be at E3? I think they may just have a teaser then show the full game a year later like they usually do. I may be wrong because it would be a little bit too early for this.
