  1. Did you know that the only Halo game that doesn't penalize you for killing marines is Halo wars?
  2. In normal matchmaking games the AFK players would have been banned, but in griffball the object of the game is to score, not to raise your k/d by spawn killing. In this case it's a lose lose for everyone. The AFK players are violating the rules by abusing a glitch (getting credits without actually playing) and the active team is taking advantage of them doing this by spawn killing them to boost their k/d rather than actually playing the game themselves, which is also seen as cheating. Either way it violates Microsofts terms and conditions, and obviously can result in a ban. Being AFC for multiple games will get you credit banned because it's "cheating". Cheating here is defined as "abusing an unknown or known exploit to gain benefit." In this case, credits without effort. The first cases of AFK boosting were actually in firefight matchmaking (the 4 player one) where players would be AFK and rack up credits while the other players had to kill wave after wave on their own. Not only did this boost the AFK players credits, but also their commendations. Lately, people have been AFKing in other lobbies because even if you don't play, you still get credits. And yes, it is a bannable offense, and I'm sure the AFK players in question were banned as well.

  10. This is a rather simple forum game. First, someone describes a mess. The next person has to clean it up, or give up on it and say "burn it all" instead. Then, they make a mess. A for instance: Poster 1: I just spilt milk all over my car. Poser 2: Use a wet rag and shop vac to get the milk out of the car. I just broke a vase on a person's head and there's blood all over the Persian rug. Poster 3: Burn it all. I just... Easy enough right? So lemme start you off. I just broke my TV and it spilled my tea.
  11. Granted, but you forget your user ID. I wish that the world would end. > : D
  12. Did you know that (with the exception of one or two) every member of the mod group has their own personal award that they give out at random?
  13. The original gamer clans actually date before Halo, when MMO's first started popping up. A clan was usually anywhere from 5 to 10 people who would be online at the same time and help each other out in whatever game they were playing. In Halo, the point of a clan is to have players that are decent who are able to back you up in team gametypes, rather than you having to be a random and having crummy teammates that get you spawn trapped.
  14. iPhone. I like to call people without having to download apps. WYR be a character in Halo 2 or Halo 3?
  15. Did you know that Spectral Jester was the first member to reach 2000 posts?
