  1. Shut the hell up, I can post whatever I want on here and you can't stop me. So suck it.
  2. Should Master Chief drop his gun just because Call of Duty lets users use guns? Should Master Chief, a friggin’ Super Soldier, lose his ability to sprint just because Call of Duty lets users sprint? And most importantly, should every aspect of a Call of Duty game be shunned from use by other game developers just because Activison decided to use an idea first? The answer to all of these questions is no, by the way. Even though Halo and Call of Duty are very different, they have the same background: Shooting. And there is no way for both of these games to be polar opposites and still be known as “shooters”. They both have to have some similar ideas just to spark interest in its audience. Halo is a game that is evolving, not a game that is copying another game. This was simply to stop people from starting threads about how Halo is supposedly becoming Call of Duty, because clearly, it's not!
  3. Yeah, that's exactly what I've heard. The Railgun is essentially a mobile Gauss Turret. Can't wait to give it a test run.
  4. I'm almost positive that they will have some sort of alternative edition. Most likely a "Legendary Edition". If I remember correctly, they announced the legendary edition for Halo Reach a few months before the game came out. So, if there is actually going to be one, it should be announced sometime after or during August/September. Hope that helps!
  5. Yeah stealth combat missions would be cool. Like where you have to go in, grab and item and not attract any attention. I'd dig that.
  6. Activson is essentially the bully in this gaming industry. They take what they don't deserve and make money off of want isn't necessarily good. They play a lot of mind games on the gaming community too. Just disregard everything good you hear about them, because they are TRULY in it JUST for the money. If they cared about customer satisfaction, would they really release a Call of Duty game anually? Releasing game sequels at that kind of rate just shows how much they care about improvement. In other words, they don't.
  7. I know what they are: They are essentially the new enemy race that Master Chief will face in Halo 4. We had the covenant, now we have...these things.
  8. As you all probably know, Spartan Ops is a new feature included in Halo 4. It is basically a few extra campaign missions 343 Industries will be throwing at us every so often. This is essentialy a way to keep gamers coming back to the game every week so that even when they do finish off the campaign, there is still some more story that can be played. My purpose of this thread is to have you guys talk about the type of missions you want to play. Here is my idea: Birth of a Spartan: I think it would be awesome if one of the first missions you can play is a mission in which you train to become a Spartan. You are selected at young, and you train your way through the many task at hand in order to porve that you'll make an excellent Super Soldier. You can have gun training, physical workouts, and other Spartan training based missions. I think it would be a pretty cool way of showing Master Chief's backstory. And then in the end, you are obviously turned into the Super Soldier and you play whatever the next mission 343 creates. So just toss your ideas in the mix. I think it would be a pretty interesting discussion since Spartan Ops is apparently a pretty big deal now that it's a brand new addition to the Halo series.
  9. I must agree, the physics in Halo Reach were way out of whack. On the other hand, like many people have already said, Halo 3 physics were the best. And I think 343 Industries is going to address this in our favors. It seems that 343 is all about realism. I mean, they made an actual story about why Red Spartans fight Blue Spartan just so there would be some sort of realism. They also created a new breed of Spartans for multiplayer to help convey the story more effectively. So all signs seem to point to the fact that 343 Industries is all about realism, or in this case, getting Halo as real as it can be without ******** us fans off. So I think the physics of a Warthog will surly by fixed because, even in the year 2557, there is no reason why a Warthog should fly 100 feet into the air when a grenade hits it. If a grenade was truly that powerful, the Warthog should look like it had been nuked by the time it hits the ground. Just my two-cents, hopefully 343 really does follow through like I expect them to.
  10. I personally think that this is a good move. Even though it seems like just another thing Halo is taking from Call of Duty, putting sprint as the press-down-left-stick just seems natural, especially when Armor Abilities will be taking up the bumper. Any other key would just seem akward when pressed down to Sprint. If you needed to hold Y down to Sprint, I don't think as many people would use it because of its lack of convinience. Now, while walking, you don't even need to think about moving your hand to make your character sprint. Just press down! Adding Sprint as a default was also a good move by 343. Because if you think about it, why wouldn't a friggin' SUPER SOLDIER not be able to sprint in the first place. Hell, now Master Chief to look through friggin' walls by default! Do you guys agree with me for the most part?
  11. Mechs would be cool MAYBE in campagin. But in Multiplayer, mechs would throw off the balance of the game soo much.
  12. Old, but nonetheless, nice.
  13. Nice info, thanks for the roundup!
  14. I think that seeing his face would ruin his identifity. I say keep it covered. Oh and that guys is too fat and old to be the chief lol!
  15. OMG WOW! Is this for that Halo movie that's coming out next year?
