Not the one you put on your back, i mean the actual dam thing as a weapon! if they put a golf club im sure they could add a cool sword.

Of course id play as an elite in custom games, but the thing is WILL their be that many custom games? i remember in Halo 3 i played a million of them, then in reach it like died down and none of my friends ever played it... thats why i wanted just a gametype, like elite slayer or invasion.

The thing about custom games is that im worried if people will play them at all. I remember in Halo 3 i played almost as many custom games as i did matchmaking. but in reach custom games where almost non-existant. thats why i want a way to be an elite in matchmaking.

I hope there is a dark armor effect, like a black cloud and dark energies glow around ur Spartan. And a red visor.

i DO play games for their stories, i just dont find it neccesary to pull elites out of multiplayer JUST to tie it into the campaing, since the tie in will probably be really pathetic. Elites are in campaing, so you better prepare. Im just pissed they arent in Multiplayer...

:thumbdown: So their copying assassins creed huh. Aw well. Really bummed that they would remove Elites just so tie the multiplayer to the story I think they are losing out on a lot of potential awesomeness (game play wise) just to do this story tie-in that probably wont be elaborated to much and wouldn't have ended up making a big difference if it hadn't been tied to the story. Very Very dissapointed.....

Not in Matchmaking :thumbdown: ? Im not asking for a Halo 3 kind of presence, but like in Halo: Reach, an Elite Slayer gametype wouldent hurt for those wanting to play as there favorite dinosaurs.

I sure hope so, otherwise im gonna lose a great deal of interest in the game. It would be insulting to elite fans. Can anyone confirm?

I for one dont see playing as an elite a bad thing. Sad that Thel Vandam has been confirmed as absent from the game, im gonna miss Arby. I would love to play as an elite though, Half Jaws would be perfect for an Elite Ops.

None of the spartans in the videos haves knives, so unless their gonna get all physical, i doubt their will be assassinations in the game. Also, the elites (whether we get to play them or not) have no wrist armor, where the plasma dagger they used in assassinations was located, further reinforcing my theory. Its really a shame, i for one loved assassinations, and its not like they where obligatory to do for the people who dont like them... shame they would not include this feature. off course it is early in development. they might add it in later. i sure hope so.
