  1. The prometheans are the new enemies that we will be fighting in halo 4, but there is lot that puzzles me when it comes to this new faction. The first thing that i have noticed is the colors of the prometheans. I know there may be another topic or two about this, but i am looking at it in a bit different perspective. We have seen gameplay when players fight against orange colored primetheans, but we also know that there are blue prometheans.i have heard that the color orange means that they are corrupted, and this makes sense in a way. We would assume the Didact has corrupted them because his symbol and his crytum have been shown with the color orange. He does have a hatred for humans and things point to him being the main antagonist. But the problem is, the didact was the commander of the enitre forerunner military. He lead the prometheans(the orignal foerunner ones)in the forerunner-human and forerunner-flood wars. Why would he have to corrupt them in order to be their leader?? You could argue the Didact is good and blue prometheans are corrupted, but this doesnt seem right. Blue seems to be significant color to forerunners in their structure and technology. I would assume it to be the original color of the prometheans, and orange seems like a color of corruption and evil. And you cant say the Didact leads the blue ones. His symbol has only been displayed as orange, and his cryptum (as seen in the campaign gameplay) has the same orange as the prometheans. also, why arent all of the prometheans corrupted? who would've stopped it? Main questions: 1) why would the Didact have to corupt prometheans to be their leader? 2) who would then lead the blue prometheans and prevent them from being corrupted? 3) Do the two colors oppose each other? if so, why? i dont think any of these answers are known yet. please give theories and envidence that could possibly answer these.
  2. i recently found this video of the halo actors filming a cutscene. It also shows the animation of it on the side, but thats not what caught my attention. Watch the vid and read what i have to say below http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TDB6slZZVGA In the beginning, Chief says "if we let him leave this world, humanity will be at risk". He has to be refering to the Didact! We have seen his symbol, heard his voice, and he is most likely going to be an enemy. He is probably a threat to the crew of the Infinity and he most likely wants the ship to escape Requiem. He could then either destroy humanity, search for the Librarian, or both. The captain doesnt even believe what the chief is telling him, because seeing a forerunner sounds completely fake. All evidence points at the Didact. Another thing, the captain wants to repair the Infinity so it can function again. If he did that, the Didact could board the ship and escape Requiem. Cheif is telling him not to repair the ship.....and when Cortana goes crazy and says she wont let them leave, she is doing the right thing! the campaign trailer made her sound like she was doing something bad, but it is really in an effort to save humanity. She is preventing the Didact from escaping and shes guna kick the crap out of that stubborn captain also keep in mind the 10th terminal in halo CE anniversary. Guilty Spark says "and without the Librarian to temper his rage, those reclaimers would almost prefer the Flood". Humans are reclaimers, so this means the didact is a threat to humanity
  3. I am a Christian and i have never fully understood the meaning of Adam and Eve until now. I recently finished reading a book call Ishmael(very good book), and it gave me a lot of insight into this story. In Hebrew, the name Adam means Man, and Eve means Life. they are symbols of the people living in the fertile crescent and how the agricultural revolution started. There were actually hunter-gatherer people all over the world. When we consider Adam and Eve to be the first people on earth, it simply refers to the origins of the agricultural revolution and how it spread. The hunter gatherer people had been living the same way for thousands of years, and since the introduction of agriculture, things have continuosly advanced and show no signs of slowing down. I dont know if anyone will understand my explanation as it is, but if you read Ishmael, it will all make perfect sense
  4. yes, you're correct. Get in the blast radius and you loose your shields, or vehicle shuts down. It could possibly be like the energy drainer from H3
  5. these are only the preorder skins that have been revealed already. he wants to know about the skins that come with the special edition, not the pre order i dont think they have been released yet
  6. well, we know the orange color in some of prometheans means that they're corrupted, but i dont understand why we are fighting both colors. Maybe there are opposing forerunners on requiem and they use promethean armies for combat......who knows
  7. now that the main war is over, the elite species is on the brink of civil war. Some have accepted that humanity is now an important ally to them, but others still want to follow the prophets teachings and wipe them out. The covenant on requiem have been confirmed to be a splinter group of covenant (and you can tell they are the bad ones)
  8. smart idea. You will want to know the plot of the best sci-fi series in the history of man
  9. the jet pack is not gone. Both the jet pack and thruster pack will be in halo 4. Jet pack is the usual thing to help you get a height advantage. Thruster pack is like a speed boost. You stay low to the ground and thruster pack thrusts you forward to gain ground
  10. lmao...... use armor lock........noob style
  11. nailed it. They are the same. I think that the Precursors are the most advanced form of the flood. They no longer become reliant on hosts and are capable of building technology. They then created the foreunners, who rebelled and wiped out the precursors. the powder that the flood came from was a failsafe plan to ensure that their species could survive. They would just have to evolve from the lowest form of their species, which is the flood that we currently know of. and yes, this was said. The forerunners believed the Mantle was passed on to them from the Precursors. The Primordial revealed that it was really the humans who were meant to inherit the Mantle, and their worthiness would be tested by the flood. If humanity can show that they have defeated the most deadly species in their galaxy, that would show their power and prove that they should be the ones preserving the life of the galaxy. Which is inheriting the Mantle
  12. haha ya. Your best bet is to jump and hope it rolls past
  13. i think two controllers and the game. Maybe a poster or something. I wouldnt know because i'm not buying it
  14. you do have a good point. but if the grenade lands within the damage radius and you notice the indicator, you dont have that much time to react. the grenade will probably detonate the moment you start to make your break, well if the grenade has stopped moving of course
  15. it does look somewhat similar to the precursor images that you have, but i think it would have to be a promeathean. The orange glow looks similar to that of the prometheans, and its probably an equivelent to a hunter, or scarab. It looks completely mechanical (like the prometheans) and i would assume precursors would have a more organic look. Remember, the forerunners rebelled and wiped out the precursors. I dont think that would have happened if precursors had that much of a size advantage, and the forerunners stand at about 5 meters tall(or something like that, i know that the Didact's height has been confirmed)
  16. kill radius is too close. I think you mean damage radius
  17. the only way to find out is to start cheating
  18. i personally HATE ghost zombies, and why would they remove sword base??? the haunted remakes are okay..... but keep sword base....and no pinnacle. It would be nice if any some of the halo games had a few maps designed just for infection..... like an abandoned laboratory- dark corridors, close quarters, completely indoors.....that would be intense
  19. i didnt know about the special traits and such. Do you know if the traits will take the place as one of your "perks"(i forget the name) in your loadouts?? Or do you assign the trait to a certain loadout(without affecting the perks and such)?? or do the traits apply only when you have a certain weapon? sorry for all the questions. I just want to learn as much as possible about the specializations
  20. ya, this cant be all the helmets. It would be less than half of the helmets that reach had. I liked the customization system in reach and i hope halo 4 has a similar one with a lot of fresh armor. The new armor already looks very unique and i cant wait to see more
  21. you dont spawn with any special weapons, that would ruin the balance of halo that is becoming questionable with custom loadouts. It would keep things simpler if it only earned you cosmetic changes( armor/weapon skins, etc.) I read an article about specializations and i seems like a new thing that you have to level up in. Once you obtain the highest level in a certain class, you can begin to advance in a different class. For example, i reach the highest rank of gunner, so now i may start leveling up my rank with sniper. It is still a topic that little is know about. I hope to find more info soon
  22. i'm happy with anything but armor lock......
  23. i havent heard much info about this, but if you dont want to go through the trouble of unlocking all of this, buy the special edition game. You get a code for all specializations to unlock right away. I didnt exactly know what the specializations were until now, but i feel that i can get ahead start by buying the special edition and getting them all right away
  24. ya, i could hardly notice it, and its only a visual thing. I noticed it on the BR and magnum. I dont know about the other weapons
  25. i was recently watching some halo 4 war games gameplay, and i saw something that i have never noticed before. The are hit markers that i see when players fire and hit opponents. They show up in an x-pattern(similar to cod) and they disappear w=very quickly. I dont know if anyone else has made a topic about this, but i only noticed it now. I don think will affect any gameplay, and it was just something new that i hadnt heard of yet
