  1. My backside have you been in fleets since Halo 2, Chris. You don't sound a day older than ten. I would welcome an 8v8 at some point, just message me or Ben on Xbox and we'll get something sorted out.
  2. You are also fake, so don't go around acting as though you are a monitor of the "Essence of Infinity". This "board" died because Aurora Cygnus did not reply and people stopped caring. Aurora was great and did well, but there's no need for so many people to now copy him and Adjutant Reflex. It got old when we reached three hundred.
  3. Interesting, first few posts and you're already asking for a clan match? Why don't you try socialising a little more and then get involved with the clan forums that are around and about.
  4. Well that was entertaining watching how an innocent vehicle discussion turned into a Sangheili bashing contest. The Jiralhanae are dead, we glassed their planet and finished off the filthy disgrace. These actions were just and created a new opening for all species who walk and seek the path to salvation. That is why the Jiralhanae aren't in the new "reformed" Covenant. If you wish to continue this, utilize the messaging system and do not spam this thread.
  5. I never commented on which was easier to kill, I was just stating that they could be killed.
  6. No, that is incorrect on many levels. The Scorpion is less manoeuvrable than the Wraith so a good mortar can easily take the turret off of the Scorpion as they cannot evade the mortars as well as two Wraiths opposing each other. I have tested this theory many times, and you aren't the first by any means. I was on Crescent Hill with my Wraith and the enemy Scorpion was by Red Base on Blood Gulch; and so, the battle began: The Scorpion was moving around to try and spot me or uncover my presence, but I moved with him and he couldn't do so. Eventually, he stopped moving and started firing pot-shots off at me. As the Scorpion did this, I started firing mortars which got closer and closer each time. He started moving around from side to side evading my shots, but as you know the manoeuvrability isn't as good with the Scorpion, so I increased the velocity and angle of my mortars and started getting him as he strafed in a line-like motion; he was somewhat trapped and couldn't do anything as to change strafe he would have to stop completely. It is very easy to destroy a Scorpion in a Wraith, you just need to practise and be good with the Wraith. They cannot boost like the Wraith can, which is why they get caught off of guard quite often. The Scorpion isn't as good as many people suggest; there are a lot of disadvantages with this vehicle as well. That is very true about the three-hundred and sixty degree rotational turn; however, when I turn my turret around without moving the Scorpion's body, I have become somewhat disorientated when moving around. When using the Wraith, however, it is a lot easier to boost and then turn around which has prevented me from getting hijacked many a time. Also, if you haven't noticed, the Wraith turns a lot faster than the Scorpion does when moving the main body. Secondly, you cannot state that the Scorpion is better because it is more powerful and easier to track opponents. In my opinion, that's not challenging yourself and it's being lazy. The Wraith requires dedication, precision, practise and skill and you basically implied that all the Scorpion requires is a trigger finger, a steady aim of sight and accuracy. A vehicle is not automatically better just because it is easier to use. That's like saying 'Living Dead' requires more skill than 'MLG' as it is easier and you get Shotguns. Pointless, irrelevant and invalid. No offence. It is a very controversial debate about which vehicle is better, as both have similarities, differences, advantages and disadvantages. We could sit here for hours and argue about which vehicle is better. Ultimately, it all comes down to opinions and who thinks what is better. You cannot sit here and slander the Covenant's Wraith, nor can you sit here and slander the humans' Scorpion as they are so similar and different in a variety of ways. End of rant. To elaborate on this part: the Wraith requires two entire clips of an Assault Rifle for it to be either destroyed or severely devastated. I haven't studied the Scorpion much, but I would imagine that it is very similar. If both hatches are open, a good sniper could easily snipe the operator before any serious damage is caused to any one side, or a well tossed grenade in the hatch or vent will also work just as well.
  7. Indeed, I absolutely agree. With practise you can be trained to hit anything like I have come to learn over the past few years. The Wraith is an exceptional vehicle and is a deadly weapon if used correctly. The best position is sitting on Hamburger Hill firing down upon Red Team as they can't hit you with theirs. It is such a fascinating vehicle and is truly a wonderful piece of machinery. As I said in the post prior to this, and I apologize for double-posting, but with practise you can hit anything which is why I believe you could. If you train solidly and improve in every area then you can hit almost everything. You just need to know what you're doing, then, you will become a deadly asset to the Covenant onslaught.
  8. Welcome to the 343 Industries Community Forum, friend; It's nice to see some new faces in from time to time.
  9. Greetings, it is good to see new people on the forums now and then.
  10. Greetings, it is nice to see some new people around the forums.
  11. How many warriors does your clan hold? Anyhow, I would like a clan match. Please get back to me with relevant data.
  12. All that I am saying is that I think Adjutant Reflex was the official and original ARG, not to say the Aurora Cygnus wasn't any fun. It did offer mystery and I liked it. I am just annoyed with how many there are with similar names on this community forum.
  13. I don't even see what we are trying to achieve with this debate?
  14. I remember you from a long time ago, and we played many Raids and Clan Battles and the times we had were excellent. It's good to see that the Judges have reformed once again. I would like an 8v8 or a 6v6 clan match preferably today. Can this be met?
  15. He was not a "fake" though, was he? He was the original ARG and will continue to be THE original.
  16. How many "monitors" have we already? Can we please stop attempting to copy Adjutant Reflex?
  17. At some point I would like to hold a meeting about a War Campaign, and I would also like an 8v8 Big Team Battle clan match before Halo 4's release that could possibly be today?
  18. Any chance of an 8v8 Big Team Battle clan match today, in a while?
  19. I demand evidence on Covenant Ordnance! Why is everything so biased? It is like Bungie favoured us more even though they too took a dump on us.
  20. Agreed, the only real ARG was Adjutant Reflex. I cannot believe we may have been so blind as to believe a false liar.
  21. "The Type-26 Assault Gun Carriage is the primary armored fighting vehicle used by the Covenant.[4] The Covenant deploy the Wraith as a first-strike ground assault vehicle in tactical ground engagements, they use the vehicle as a weapons platform to bring down structures[5] in the way of ground forces attempting to advance in a area, as well as to destroy enemy armor possessing a threat to their own infantry. In addition the Wraith is used to break infantry rank by both physical and physiological force.[5] A massive bulbous and thickly armored mortar tank, the Wraith is used by the Covenant as their main armored assault vehicle for ground forces. Like all Covenant vehicles the Type-26 AGC's design is a sleek winged vehicle design more akin to an insect or an aircraft then a ground vehicle. The Type 26 AGC is composed of four major components: The chassis, is the first and major component and consists of the cockpit, which contains the controls for the pilot, these include the controls that move the tank, the controls that align the mortar on target, and one in the center that arms and fires the main battery. Holographic control surfaces and displays show the pilot a 360-degree view outside the Wraith.[6] Underneath is its propulsion system consisting of a Boosted gravity propulsion drive,[7] the chassis also contains the necessary systems that power all other systems on the vehicle. Two wide lateral fins are the second major component to the Type-26 AGC, the fins stabilize the vehicle on terrain, as well as provide the vehicle thrust to attain limited boost for enhanced maneuverability.[7] The the third major component is the rudders which control the turning or yaw-axis of the vehicle, the rudders use two independent propulsion drives to help turn the vehicle in the desired direction. The fourth major component is the gun carriage, this contains the Type-26 AGC's main weapon, the heavy mortar cannon. The huge bulk of the Wraith is well shielded by an armored shell that is nearly two feet (61cm) thick and made up of a polymer that is not understood by human physicists.[2] Piloted by a single occupant, who controls all the vehicle and weapons systems, the Type-26 AGC is a highly maneuverable vehicle able to traverse many different terrains. The Type-26 AGC like all Covenant vehicles uses a form of anti-gravity propulsion drive to cushion and absorb almost all of the recoil caused by the heavy mortar cannon.[2] The Wraith's large size and its ability to provide covering fire from the massive Plasma Mortar makes it an inestimably dangerous vehicle on the battlefield. The Wraith is the third largest Covenant ground force vehicle, after the Locust." ~ Halo Nation What do you think of the Type-26 Assault Gun Carriage, also known as the Wraith, competitively, campaign and lore wise?
