The Magnet Gun in Red Faction: Armageddon does not imply a magnetically accelerated particle cannon, it is exactly what the name is. It fires an anchor magnet, and then a pulling magnet, which pulls whatever the pulling magnet is attached to into the anchor. It is useful for crushing enemies or blocking pathways, entrances, and breaking a chase. UNSC: Nail Gun: automatic nail gun pierces through armor Ion Rifle: automatic rifle shoots beams of ions Covenant: Mercury Blaster: shoots out mercury so fast the liquid is like bullets and spreads out like a shotgun Energy Rifle: same material as energy sword but fires it as bullets.
