halo 4 trailer

i was doing some talking in the chat above and i have came up to a conclusion that the weird structure in the trailer is something hidden behind a halo ring possibly

need help on getting on how i got this idea no fear this is how:

first i thought the meteor was the signal in the trailer. But then i figured out the metor was a shuttle from halo 2 thanks to zaguroth. So that got me to think, what if the ship he was in at the end of halo 3 is a part of the shuttle that fell down from halo 2. and if it is from the second halo ring what if that structure in the halo 4 trailer is something exposed from the destruction of one of the halo rings master chief has destroyed. ideas are helped by Zaguroth and ZB-85

Uhm... no.. we tried to clarify that the shuttle from Halo 2 was destroyed after entering the atmosphere... That shuttle has absolutely NOTHING to do with Halo 4 as it was destroyed...

hmmm but how did that ship get there because human life didn't live on the halo rings originally. It was set to go somewhere from knowing that and it traveled for quite a while. So maybe just maybe it has to do with something master chief didn't know.

No, the ship MC is on in the Halo 4 trailer is the rear end of Johnson's frigate which was still on the other side of the portal when it closed.

it was an escape pod than right? Was it ment for escaping the explosion. because if not than i think it might was trying to run away from the structure than

The Forward Unto Dawn was a UNSC Frigate commandeered by Miranda Keyes, that's where John was at the end of Halo 3. Not an escape pod.

so it was practicly a study base. Maybe she was studying something from far outside the halo 3 ring

Omg spy, get this through your thick head, the Frigate was there because they were examining what was through the portal, it was cut in half due to the portal closing before it was fully through the portal. In the trailer, John wakes up and comes out of a cryo tube. The golden orb in the beginning is a signal from his brain to his heart...

The only reason why i'm saying this is because as stated by 343 it is a literal continuation of halo 3 so im trying to gather information and see if i can figure out anything

There really is nothing to figure out.. It's already been said that the planet is a shield world, and MC wakes up in Johnson's frigate (no not literally his but the one he was on).

The Forward Unto Dawn's been floating dead in space for 5 years now and it drifts to this planet, or supposedly finds this planet accidentally- this isn't for sure. Covenant do not inhabit the planet whatsoever.

The Covenant are going to be in Halo 4 but they are not going to be on the Forerunner shield world. Also try not to double post, just edit your first one.

Onyx was a shield world adam, just that once the Dyson sphere is opened it expands, so it is still a shield world but the dyson sphere hasnt been opened or activated or w.e... I think anyways..
