VinWarrior
A recent slue of rumors and debates argued whether Titanfall would run at 1080p or not, today we have learned that Titanfall will be running at native 792p at Launch. Titanfall's grand launch on Xbox One and PC is fast approaching with the midnight release already happening in some places, so naturally, fans of the game wondered what the resolution would be, seeing as it is so late in the pre-release window. Today, it's been officially confirmed by lead engineer Richard Baker that Titanfall runs just short of 800p. Richard said that, "There was an issue with decals taking a lot more time than they should which we fixed for launch, The worst-case scenarios are better, I think. The average is probably about the same as the beta." Reports had already surfaced on sites like mp1st.com that the game would run at this level, but nearly no one could believe the rumor to be true, as they believed this would be the first hit exclusive to run at a full 1080p. This however, does not mean that this couldn't be rectified in a patch in the near future. In fact, it's likely that the game will be patched. Baker went on to say, "For day one it's not going to change. We're still looking at it for post-day one. We're likely to increase resolution after we ship." This could mean that a 1080p Titanfall will exist somewhat in the near future after a couple of patches. This is sad information for those who were expecting much higher resolutions from the game, but has this swayed your opinion on purchasing Titanfall for Xbox One? MCPO Mayh3m
Not at all. They plan on improving the resolution, but as far as I can see... as long as it is playable I will be happy. It could potentially do for the Xbox One, what Halo 3 did for Xbox 360...
Yoshi1176
Titanfall is still marvelous. Like you said a patch could come in the future. But regardless of that the game is outstanding in my opinion and I will be spending many nights on it like I did with Halo.
Ardent Prayer
Of course not. I haven't actually bought an Xbox One yet. But I will. I'll only be getting it for Halo, Titanfall, Destiny, and SW: Battlefront. But Halo and Titanfall for sure. From the footage I have seen with the beta, it's looks great. I'll buy this for the Xbox 360 for now.
Is not JL
Looks good enough already. Improving it would be eye candy. 10/10 will buy
Caboose The Ace
I hope Tianfall does well but this article really helps support what I am starting to think about "Next gen" Why can they not get full native 1080p out of this Titanfall runs on the 10 year old source engine along with 60fps this is next gen Xbox one and PS4 should be able to pull of both of these without breaking a sweat but as of recent both really cannot .. Now you could say there is still loads of untapped power but that is no they should have all the power these consoles are now like PCs using a very easy to program for the X86 Architecture I think ... And the X86 is very easy to code and program from so all devs should have all the PS4s and XB1s power right from the get go this is not like the cell stuff from the PS3 this is the easy X86 stuff so that is why I think next gen is unpowered.... Rant over please continue on your schedule citizens.

Caboose The Ace
No JXZAW you miss the point what happens when Devs want to put this in the game and that and this ... but they find out that the console does not have the power to support this great idea .... That is my greatest fear about "Next gen"
