I frequently see elite warriors (essentially the generals from reach) wielding tiny plasma pistols, which they never even overcharge. Mr. X Posted January 6, 2013 Report Share Posted January 6, 2013 Funny is that the Plasma Pistol is acutally one of the strongest weapons in the game and better than the Storm rifle if you fire it quickly. Seeker of Truth Posted January 6, 2013 Report Share Posted January 6, 2013 Yes, they wield plasma pistols, but then so did Ultras in Halo 2, occasionally. It's by no means a weak weapon, as Mr. X pointed out. A charged shot followed by a few regular shots equals a pretty quick kill, especially on Legendary. Plus most Warriors still use fuel rod guns, energy swords and the like. It could be that the ones using plasma pistols have been stripped of their honor, and hence they no longer have the right to use powerful weapons. Rev Righteous Posted January 9, 2013 Report Share Posted January 9, 2013 As somebody mentioned, they still overcharge when you are in a vehicle, and since grunts can't hijack you, they may give them plasma pistols so you have some foes ready to interrupt your little road trip.
