nothingiswrongwiththisname Posted November 12, 2012 Report Share Posted November 12, 2012 The DMR is better at mid-long range, but the br when scoped in, shakes less when you get shot than the dmr, but they both have the same damage per second. OMG Treason Posted November 12, 2012 Report Share Posted November 12, 2012 They both have a purpose in my opinion. The only thing that irks me in this game is the hitboxes the size of Jupiter. I went into a custom game, and your reticule doesnt have to be red over their head to register a kill shot or hell a shot at all you can actually kill someone 5 shots without actually hitting them. BETAOPTICS Posted November 12, 2012 Report Share Posted November 12, 2012 DMR will win always except when you play in a map that has a lot of tight corridors and a lot of CQB, then the BR wins but there are like two maps that are like that so DMR will be most likely the winner in almost every situation no matter what map. albinoxeno Posted November 13, 2012 Report Share Posted November 13, 2012 the DMR is superior, which is very fustrating, especially on big team. i was looking foward to the greater variety in weapons the loadout system would bring to halo 4, but instead everyone uses the DMR or is punished for not. i find this is only the case on btb though, the BR and AR are much more effective on regicide and 4v4 games. it would be nice for the weapons to be balanced better, not just the DMR vs the BR, but the other weapons too, like the SR, CC, and supresser. in short, look at your statistics 343, nerf the DMR and buff the less used weapons. God forsake Reach and the DMR. The BR is my baby, and I love her true. And if she goes, than I do too.
