What do you think about Meltdown?

But I digress. The real thing I made this topic for was the discussion of the newly announced (and shown) map, Meltdown.

IGN happened to take the walkthrough of the map down for some reason, and even then it was only shown on the Benelux (Belguim, Netherlands, Luxembourg) version of the site. However, THC posted a video reviewing some of the footage below.

It looks like this map will be great for BTB, CTF, and Dominion imo. What are you guys' thoughts on the map, and do you think you will enjoy it based on the footage we've seen?

Looks pretty good and reminds me of some previous Halo maps but I also want more slayer based maps.

it looks great but now we know what 9 of the 10 map are i cant wait to see the last one. we have 4 BTB maps and 5 smaller MLG type maps so ill bet the last map will be a BTB map so that the maps are 50/50.

Yes it is actually going to be a map in Halo 4. The video was taken down from the site for some reason like I said in the OP. But it was posted on IGN and it is going to be a Halo 4 map.

It actually looks like it could be one of my favorite maps, it's got a real variety of combat scenarios that will help give it life for a longer period of time.

So excited this IMO is the best map so far. Love the design choices. When he started going into the map the cave networks and bases were incredible. And NO BANSHEE. This is very good. More warthogs and ghosts! Battle for the middle bridge will be great too.

Kinda reminds me of Half-Life opposing force maps for some reason but it looks like it will be very fun, lots of nooks and crannies to learn.

Makes me think of any halo wars map where yu have to cross over a bridge and take over it to move on lol but thats just my imagination lol good map good design, has teleporters too lol thats interesting for me, I do believe that once I play it itll be great but I just cant wait for the game
