    Thanks. So you're telling me that all the variants are additions to the Mark VI armour sets? E.g. The EVA seen in Halo 3 is another version of Mark VI, developed after Mark VI was first deployed? I assume Linda/Will had Mark-VI because they were redeployed to Earth after OPERATION: FIRST STRIKE, am I right? As previously asked, why did Chief remain suited in the standard Mark VI armour? Even other Spartan-IIs were given a specific variant of the MJOLNIR Mark VI [GEN2] to suit their specialty. The Mark VI in its original form seems to suit no purpose, and almost comes off as inferior to other armour variants because it doesn't excel in any specific area. Why was John left with the standard Mark VI [GEN2]?

    It's a shame you aren't happy with Halo 5, but it's unreasonable to say that 'Halo' was ruined by 343 Industries because you expected more from the ending. You should really have a wider perspective, and consider all the other things Halo 5 has to offer. The ending should not be the only factor allowing you to determine whether Halo 5 was a success or not. If you would like to forward a formal complaint to 343 Industries, visit Halo Waypoint: www.halowaypoint.com I'm sure they'd appreciate some constructive criticism, as long as you are reasonable about the matter.

      Occasionally, all the good performance adds up. I'm personally not too fond of the Spartan-IV REQ reward system, it's not as beneficial as previous simulation rewards in my opinion.

    I see your point, and it is a valid one, although the campaign was not a disappointment. As JL stated, those 'missions' could have had more time spent on them socialising with other people.

    I completed Halo 5 Solo Heroic in about 6 hours. As RedStar mentioned, there are several variables that affect how fast you finish the campaign. Take his recommendations, then feel free to share how long Halo 5's Campaign took you. I'll admit, there were 3 missions which were under 5 minutes long (the ones in which you talk to other and have your weapon lowered), but I wouldn't say that 343 Industries came up with 'cheap lies to make a dollar'. You should really consider the quality of the Campaign, that is what makes it good.

    I don't see how that explains why the Mark VI wasn't abandoned. It's not specifically suited for a purpose. Fred, Linda, and Kelly have all moved onto different variants, why would the Mark VI still be in use? When I say variants, I mean besides the 'Mark' ones. All the GEN1 variants that weren't marks. E.g: Recon, E.V.A, Security, etc... I'm beginning to think that all (or most of) these GEN1 armoured sets aren't actually a part of the Halo Lore. Speaking of 'GoO', I never understood why one Spartan was in Mk. IV (or V), and another was in Ml. VI on the cover. I remember who was involved in the book, but I didn't understand who was suited in what (besides Kurt-051 and the Spartan-IIIs being in SPI armour). Could you give me an explanation on that please?

    What ranking system is used in the Spartan branch, formed in 2553? Are the commissioned Navy ranks still used? So John was in GEN1 armour during Halo 4, but upgraded to GEN2 (whilst with the UNSC) before Halo 5 with the rest of Blue Team? And if many different variants were made for different purposes when GEN2 was released, why wasn't the Mark VI abandoned? I personally love it, but it makes no sense for John to still wear it considering it has no unique purpose. Also, do we ever see any other Spartans using the GEN1 variants seen in Halo 3 and Halo: Reach?

    Nice work SD. Sorry to hear that P34nut. If it makes you feel any better, many of us didn't even come up with a MoM wish. I guess the Inheritor award has taken its place. Don't worry, we won't forget you defeated Biggles. Edit: @ I also just noticed that I lost the 'Profilic Poster' award, issued to me by BZ before he left. It was only awarded once. I guess we have to let things go. At least I still have some of my first awards given by AD, I'd be almost disappointed to lose them too.
