  1. Welcome! Remember, you can use the shoutbox up top as a chat tool. Take a look around, if you have any questions, feel free to ask anyone in the community, as I'm sure everyone will lend a hand to new members! Enjoy!
  2. Never heard of them...? Really? Well, they're a very popular forging YouTube channel. Not only do they make amazing maps themselves, but also feature the community's maps. They're a great way to get you and your maps out there, and recognised. They'll also do tutorials, custom games, and the occasional news update. You'll find their channel here: http://www.youtube.com/user/TheHaloForgeEpidemic The group mainly consists of these members: Oakley HiDef: Infection/Main Host. Psychoduck: Competetive Host. RLDHottamale: Race Host. Darth Human: Mini-game Maker. You'll also see members such as A J Yusi and Mr. Pokephile a lot too. I'm sure Oakley and the members can describe themselves into much deeper detail. Hope you start following their activity!

Either you have closed the shoutbox or have been banned. There is no way internet would affect it.

I haven't done anything wrong, so I'm not sure why I would be banned. I can see the shoutbox, and type, but when I punch that shout button, nothing happens..

  5. Just as a heads up, if you decide to feature this map, please make a shout-out to my channel. It's slowly growing, and I'd like to take this opportunity to earn some more subscribers. My channel mainly consists of teaser trailers for my maps, and soon community maps. The channel is called "Gryffin Forging", there's a link on my profile page. Thanks again.
  6. I visited Area 51 the other day. The first thing most should note, is that Area 51 does not entirely refer to the military base. Area 51, is a particular region, in which the military test their aircrafts. No other aircrafts are permitted to fly there, without the authorization of the military who test there. The base is not secret, but secure; underground. The base sits underground amongst "Groom Lake", where a runway, the largest on Earth, sits to cater for the military's needs. All that lies on top are hangars, after hangars, after hangars. Aliens? Maybe. If Aliens were to have had contacted Earth, they would be held secret in Area 51's base. The reason for the Alien sightings are commonly mistaken by the military's new aircrafts, never seen before. You may have seen a UFO, speeding past, but in fact it could be a ScramJet, the fastest vehicle known to man, flying at 7000 miles per hour. Do Aliens exist? What secrets are kept by this military group, in Area 51? Discuss. I will add any information or theories that you guys have, to this post. Added Information: Area 51 is a United States Air Force test facility where the United States test all sorts of new air craft and bizaare prototypes. Area 51:
  7. 7. Fire a Rocket Launcher at a Scarab, Grunt flies past you and collides with the rocket near you. *Suicide*
  8. I'm not saying I hate the game or anything, I love it. Also, I wasn't sure if the series was to continue, if it is, then I don't mind.
  9. I just recently completed the game, and I'm honestly disappointed in the ending. I loved the ending of Connor, and I thought the credits should've started rolling there, even if it ignored Desmund's story. The final ending however, felt odd and untold. I haven't owned any of the other games in the franchise, so I can't say much about the real story, but I know that if I had, I would've thrown my Xbox out the window. Thoughts?
  10. I hate the Assassin's Creed 3 ending...

  11. Isn't the SAW the new SMG? I mean, fast fire rate and all.
  12. If the gamemode is set so that the Flood can ONLY assassinate, doesn't that mean players can wedge themselves into a corner, therefore being unable to be assassinated?
  13. Really loving the DragonSchmeef. I don't play Skyrim, but I'll probably use the dragon in some Medieval-Style maps. Great map submission!
  14. It should probably be here: http://www.343industries.org/forum/forum/92-forge/ As it's not a submission, rather a thread for fellow forgers and the community.
  15. Tell me child.... ...what have you been smoking?
  16. Merry Christmas everyone! Hugs all round!

  17. Merry Christmas everyone! H

  18. It's a great post, but it shouldn't be in this section of the forums.
  19. If this is a remake of Guardian... then I'm sorry, but you're missing alot.
  20. "Assassin's Creed: Downtown" Brought to you by GryffinGuy007. How to download: (Read below) Gametype: TC_Bounty Fileshare currently unavailable. Please follow these steps: 1. Launch Halo 4. 2. Connect to XBL. 3. Press "Start" on the controller. 4. Find "Fileshare Search". Type in "GryffinGuy007". 5. Download "TC_Bounty" from the fileshare.' More gametypes to come in the near future. Map: Assassin's Creed: Downtown Fileshare currently unavailable. Please follow these steps: 1. Launch Halo 4. 2. Connect to XBL. 3. Press "Start" on the controller. 4. Find "Fileshare Search". Type in "GryffinGuy007". 5. Download "The Creed: Downtown" from the fileshare. This map is set in a city called "New Downtown", that has been overrun by criminals, thugs, and now assassins. The style of gameplay is similar to that of the Assassin's Creed franchise, and was intended to be so. Unlike most Assassin maps, you will not be forced to assassinate, but will be provoked to do so for quicker kills, and bonus points. The map is built so that players find the need to jump onto buildings and gain higher ground. This is done by the presence of a Trait Zone on the city floor, that creates a waypoint over any players who linger on the bottom. Why's that a problem? Because you will die. In this gametype, dieing is costly, with only 1 life and 10 points taken away from you. The attack system. 3 hits for a kill. 1 if you assassinate. Movement speed and jump height are unchanged. No radar. You will find a cluster of ways to climb up onto buildings, and parkour as you feel the need to. The King gains a 10 point bounty for every player he/she kills. Assassinate the king, and ontop of that bounty you will gain a whopping 50 points. Everyone spawns ontop of the buildings. 6 items spawn on the map. 3 powerups, 3 AAs. Speed Boost, Overshield and Damage Boost are the 3 powerups obviously. The 3 AAs are Thruster Pack, Active Camo and Promethean Vision (Otherwise known as, Eagle Vision). Unfortunately the map, using all the budget, hit the "shadow limit", so dynamic lighting does not exist on this map, which is a shame. This map is best suited for 4-10 players, for maximum gameplay potential. With 11+ the gameplay will feel more similar to the Hunger Games. Tips: -Kill and run. -Assassinate. -Grab the items before everyone else. -Keep moving. -Always look behind you. Now, for the images: Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2bTXiHR_o4Y Review: (Special thanks to Robius)
