  1. Only actually completed one helmet, but here, check out my thread on the Halo armor I was building: http://www.343industries.org/forum/topic/7750-halo-armor-and-weaponry-models/ I will keep you all updated on my progress once I sort out a place to continue building this stuff

      Mr. Bashful Brute

That happens to me a lot. I normally play on a 13 inch tube right in front of me. And whenever I play on anything else, I play all out of whack.

  3. Wow, some people are so creepy. Just playing in customs with a guy, I invite two chicks into the game and he kicks everybody else apart from them then closes privacy.... Some nerds....

  4. Right now I want to kick reachs servers in the nuts!

  5. Haha root blocks! Reading the explanation gave me a headache. Then again, it is 5am and I haven't slept.
  6. Guessing that not many people are really interested in the custom challenges then.... C'mon peoples, they give you access to such easy credits!
  7. No goodbyes, only see you later! Come back soon A-Dog!
  8. Take it from me buddy, having been in the same predicament once myself. What you have seems to be special, to both of you and if you do have feelings for each other, make them known sooner rather than later. She may just be waiting for you to make the first move. This sounds exactly what I was like when I was younger and I never made the first move for fear of ruining what we had. As such our friendship became so strong that I was placed into the 'friend zone' and became more like a brother to this girl. Friendships can be fixed, if you make the first move and she doesn't like you like that, you will know where you stand and can always fix the friendship. However, if you leave it too long, you may well be placed into the friend zone, which trust me, is very hard to get out of. The question is, how much do you like this girl and are you willing to take the risk?
  9. I think too, they should allow the host to have a ban hammer. Like a gravity hammer but when you get hit you get booted. Just for a bit of fun when it comes to removing unwanted annoyances from your forge sessions.
  10. Playing with a modded forgeworld map right now. Building a city!!!! A big city. It has a waterfall and everything! And a subway! and um.... buildings!

  11. Waheyy I am trustworthy! Apparently... >:]

      Congratulations on that!

  12. I have sooo much that I would like to show, here is just one of my pieces:
  13. Well, your guess is as good as any. The way I look at it though, is out of every single star system in the infinitely large universe, we can't be the only ones here. Even if there is not life on mars, there has to be somewhere else.
  14. Unless you can provide some sort of material on the subject, it will be pretty hard for us to judge your source.
  15. Awesome work Dude! Feel free to post images here of your work. From what I see, your folds are clean cut and well assembled. As I mentioned in my first post, I won't be able to continue building for a short while due to lack of space available to do it. When I get started again though I am considering only making the initial templates for new pieces as pep, then I will create a mold with vacuumform and see if I can create armor pieces as set plastic.
  16. Lol ZB, I was thinking of building the full RvB armor set at some point and getting together with a few friends for a night out on the town. Would be interesting to see what happens.
  17. Or maybe just create the option to form your own version of a campaign.... A series of maps created by you in forge with custom set objective points. Allowing you to create the storyline to work in order may not be so hard as all you would have to do is set the order the maps are to be played in. Could be pretty interesting, especially with all of the forgers who lay out these challenge maps and ninja maps. Plus, an award scheme for these challenge maps, set up by the creator of the maps.
  18. This is a thread for all of you fans out there who can build, carve, model or otherwise re-create things from halo. Like armor and weaponry for example. I'll get it kick started with a few unfinished pieces of armor that I have been working on. Unfortunately, most of this stuff was destroyed during a storm that ripped through the area where I was storing and working on them and I haven't had anywhere to continue building stuff since then. Soon I will sort out a more suitable place to do it and continue though. Full scale Helmet and chest piece. (Raw cardstock template, ready for fibreglass. Was destroyed in the storm) Helmet Front. (Initial apllication of Resin applied) Helmet Back (Resin applied) Unfortunately I do not have any further pictures until start to build this stuff again but when I do I will keep you updated. The helmet was nearly finished before the storm hit, having been fibreglassed and filled. All that was needed was the visor (Done with vacuum form) and padding inside. Shame it too, died in the storm.
  19. I like all of Penguins Ideas and I too had the same ideas of getting bodies and stuff for forge. Skins for blocks and buildings would be another must have aswell, to create maps to a certain theme. Instead of just Metal for everything. Would be good for making some great custom games. Like those that have proper buildings like subways and hospitals. Yes, you can do a lot in reaches forge and actually make stuff resemble things you want it to, but without the option of changing the skins it all still just looks forged. I am talking forging that looks like a map that hasn't been forged. Another Idea would be a 'Snap to' tool, for those who have trouble leveling ground and stuff. Have an option like the rotation snap, where to can toggle Snap to on and it will automatically level objects for you when they are placed next to another. Making it easy to make flawless floors, walls, bridges, platforms and so on.... Those are my thoughts.
  20. As much as I loved the remastered graphics of the old classic, I simply did not enjoy the gameplay as much as I thought I would. I found numerous errors where the graphics had been remastered, but there were walls where walls should not have been, Of which, when you went through them, was much like looking at an incomplete map. There were also objects that looked like you could stand on them, where you would fall (Most commonly to your death) if you tried. EDIT: Oh, and don't forget all the elevators.... Those daaaamn Elevators! Up Down Up Down Up Down.... Are we there yet? Yeah, it was fun for the most part, being able to change back and compare the new graphics to the old ones, but as far as gameplay was concerned, it was repetetive and too long. I think I spent most of my time running down thin hallways and across bridges. Many of the missions were like this. If anything I would have been happier not to have the option to change between graphics, but to have an updated version of the original game. Keeping to the original storyline, but better missions with upgraded maps and less repetitiveness. Another thing I noticed that was pretty bad too was the A.I. It reflected just how old the original game was when you came face to face with certain enemies. Especially Elites. Normally, if you punch an Elite and lower it's shields, it stops to roar at you or at least gets knocked back and stops shooting for a moment. However the behavior was not updated in this game, thus allowing an Elite to get a double pummel (n00b move) before you get the chance to kill it in harder modes. Same goes for the Flood. I mean, whos god damned idea was it to give the Flood rocket launchers!? So there I am, just about to walk around a corner with barely any ammo and no shotgun. A Flood ridden soldier appears out of nowhere and fires a rocket, killing us both! I mean, WTF!? I was playing this on Normal and it took me over an hour to get past that little b*stard because of insufficient firepower to kill him. Each time I tried to get around that corner, it was instantaneous death! He was stood out of range of my grenades, so I couldn't bounce a grenade off a wall and my sniper was empty. My AR was also running on empty. All in all, as enjoyable as it was to play through and complete, Anniversary is now collecting dust on my shelves.
