I think this would be achievable. With the current way of being able to limit the max party size yourself, making this possible would be easy. I would love to search for it, I wouldn't care for starting my own games, but being able to join someone else would be cool. You could have certain categories aswell, like infection, slayer, objective etc. Or certain maps, just like when your searching for something in the fileshare search thing. It would also make the Halo community come together more, make more friends. I think most people get bored of matchmaking because they don't have anyone to play with. Doing the custom game search, you will make friends, and then matchmaking would become more friendly and full of teams.

I have to agree. MP is nothing like Halo 3, the maps arn't the same, in Halo 3 you would have fairly big maps that you would get in a mongoose or a warthog to get around, but in Reach, all the maps are too small. I think the 1st map pack is good for MP, the maps are the correct size, the are a little big which makes the vehicles useful, but you never get them in MP. Would be good to have them back.

LUCKY!!!! I never get Uncaged!! It's always Asylum for me, and that is a bad map! Uncaged is awesome! But I have to say, SWAT isn't the only playlist without community maps.

I asked this question in Halo Waypoint forums, and someone replied to me which actually made sence. They said that MLG won't update untill ZB is fully done and made and the beta has gone, that way they can just implement ZB into MLG when the update the maps.

Oh god I hate no bloom. If they implement it into the whole game, my Reach disk will probably be snapped and put into the bin. I don't understand why people like it, its just a spam fest. I originaly didn't like bloom, but now with the ZB gametype, I see how bloom helped the game. Bloom made it so you had to time your shots, sure you had the lucky players who would spam it and would get the kill, but most people would have to time there shots. No bloom just makes it so you spam the DMR and there is no skill in that. You die way too insanly fast. You can't run or turn around and shoot if you get shot from behind because you will be dead instantly. If your on half shields, a headshot can kill you, its stupid. And then we have the pistol, like WTF? Pistol beats the DMR, you can kill someone across the map with the pistol, which is stupid, pistol is a side arm weapon, yet ATM its being used as the main weapon because its so powerful! If 343i had any sence, they would not put this in, or change it.

I would love a playlist where it was just DMR and pistol. No AA's, no other weapons on the map, no grenades on the map or at spawn. Just pure skill witht he DMR and pistol. That would be heaven!

TBH Bungie were great with Halo 3. But Bungie lost most of my respect when produced Halo: Reach. They made a game that was simply not good, and then refused to fix it. 343i I hope you do well

Yeah, the above comments are correct. With the latest TU update, stockpile was once again put into Team Objective. You can also get it in TU beta, I think.

Search Good Connection, thats all you can do. But honestly, I have to say, since the TU update, it has been laggy. It is quite annoying. Me, living in NZ, games can be laggy anyways because the connection speeds here arn't great (I used to live in the UK so I know lol) so American's, Europeans, everyone else apart from the aussies get host over us and it is a major advantage. But this is quite stupid, you can't play a game with connection issues. They do need to do something, host migrations before the game has started is completly ridiculous, but then another 2-4 host migrations through out the game is just amazing. People eating shots like im chucking gummy bears at them, people lagging all over the place. It is stupid, please fix it!!!

Yeah, if someone goes into armour lock, you can shoot them, grenade them, beat them down etc and there energy decreases dramaticly, so your amour lock will not last as long, there for you will die

I like zero bloom. I don't like how you die so so sooo quickly! Seriously, if your half shields, a headshot will kill you. Its stupid, you are completly powerless if someone gets even 1 shot on you from behind, you can't turn around and shoot because you will be killed by the time you can turn around, and you can't run because you will get killed too quickly. If this goes into matchmaking, I think Reach will be even more dead than before. Having bloom wasn't bad, people who wanted to spam the DMR just thought it was bad because they couldn't adapt.

New maps yes, that would be awesome. New gametypes yeah!!! But I don't think this playlist can keep going if the betrayal system is still in.

Well Bungie were complete (insert offensive word here), and they didn't want to update Reach because they were too lazy. With 343i taking over, they have had to get used to Reach's system and everthing. I have to say though, I did expect a little more. This would also be nice, update it to the V6 gametypes and maps, there are a couple of maps that have been released that would be awesome to play in matchmaking.

Elites are bigger and faster in Reach, where as in Halo 3 they were just the same as the Spartan. There for it would make the game way too unbalanced. Back to the OP, if you hadn't suggested the part where you choose Spartan or Elite before the game starts and you then search, this wouldn't have worked. But because you said that, this idea is very much do-able, and I think 343i should do this, its worth a shot. Unfortunately, I don't think it would have the numbers to keep running for long.

haha no it's not. I play Team Snipers so much, and sometimes I am put against people my own level, but then teamed with the worst people you can imagine, and they have guests! And then quite a few times, I'm put against noobs, which is good, but must be annoying for them. P.S. You may think i'm stuck up and think very highly of myself by saying the above, but I am good at snipers. #31 in NZ says it all.

hahaha yeah! Brilliant!!! Thank you 343 industries! Have to say, this would be a godsent. This is one of the worst things about Reach. I'm getting sick of playing Team Snipers, and I get matched against a team of 4 who have awesome K/D's, and on my team I have guests! That the original person has a bad K/D so you know the guest will be bad. Please fix

lol how much of the game do you actually play, coz you must be banned from matchmaking every 15 mins lol. Everything you just said happens in every single game I play. And to Number 7, so basicly you quit when the other team are working as a team, and your team arn't? There's a solution, go in with a team.

I rage quit when I'm playing Team Slayer and I don't get a DMR start, and then I start getting killed by noobs with AR's. Thats the only time I ever rage quit.

1st, I completly agree with you, I play Team Snipers more than any other playlist, and the variaty of maps suck! But, this is only a community forum, It isn't actually 343i website, they don't come here.
