Can Elites swim?

I've always wondered if elites could swim. By looking at how their body is, the hind legs are like a dogs s I'm guessing they do somehting like a doggy paddle or something. (if they swim)

I'm not sure.... Maybe without their armor? Their planet is partially covered in water, so I assume so.

I would say they could swim. They can't swim in Halo, but they can most likely swim. Like BulletStorm said, their planet is a fraction water, so they probably know how to swim.

I found that weird since the book mentions that a large amount of Sanghelios is covered by water.
