The Master Chief Posted March 24, 2012 Report Share Posted March 24, 2012 Dual wielding was first introduced in halo 2 and was countinued in halo 3, but in halo reach the player couldn't dual wield, but elites in the campaign and fire fight, which wasn't fair to the gamers. TerribleTimbo Posted March 24, 2012 Report Share Posted March 24, 2012 With the exception of the plasma pistol, plasma rifle, and the mauler, literally every weapon that was dual weildable wasn't worth using by itself. Instead of having half the weapons be so weak to the point of being unusable when not dual weilding, I'd rather have all of them be useful in some way by themself. Also, instead of flooding the short-mid range weapons available, they could instead give more variety throughout the weapon range specturm.
