Every thing ive compiled from reading halo 4 forum topics.

this is what ive came up with while snooping around on this forum for 2+ hours.

 

1) scraches and damage variations to each armor.

2) diffrent colors each diffrent armor piece.

3) remade halo 3 armors.

4) more armor effects.(maby one could be body disovles like when you kill a dragon on skyrim.)

5) maby change the color of the places under the armor.

6) also same customability as for elites and spartans.

7) maby some things in the armory have to be unlocked either by buying it with a required rank and others with pretty much skill.

im not to fond of the idea of the armor pieces affecting your gameplay.

9) my idea is maby armor can pop off?

10) Prostethic limbs sounds cool.

11) possibly same helmet custimization as elder scrolls.

12) i like the idea of placeing emblems at diffrent places of your suit. but instead of anywhere how about some key points like shoulder, helmet, and chest or even all of them at once.

13) maby a color pallet for coloring armor parts.

14) No taking off helmet. sounds gay.

15) oh possibly some helmets have diffrent displays for in game HUD. but not in campain.

16) a better female figure. i want a better one!

17) instead of being able to move the knife where ever because if you could theyd have to make to many diffrent assassination scenes maby set places for the knife like shoulder, leg, and waist.

18) btw everybody their are more spartans there should be atleast be some more. (irrelivant but still it irritated me)

19) possibly have diffrent ranks for spartans and elites so you cant just play as a spartan and get all the armor for the elite.

20) PLEASE BRING BACK SKILL POINTS. so people cant just get to max ranks and still suck a**.

21) armor abilities like in reach.

22) fuse halo 3 and reach ranking systems like to a certain point you have to use skill to get to the next level.(maby with arena or ranked matches)

23) have the same forging capabilites for every map. (im pretty sure people could have lots and lots of fun with that (MEEEEEE!))

24) bring back most/all of the weapons from previous games and add more maby like the teaser trailer (mmmmm teased me alot) where you could add an attachment perhapes in game attachments from on the ground.

25) add more vehicles like on red vs blue the morticycle mongoose and of course bring back all the old vehicles.

26) perhaps ragdolls in forge. id like that

27) a gigantic map so we could have longswords or sabres + the covinent air ship things.

28) a air only map. that would be cool.

29) oh and definitly maby a pure-multiplayer, custom game, and forge disc as disc 2 and disc 1 would have campain and survival (err or firefight). each disc of course would have theater.

30) be able to change the time of day and precipitaion of the maps you forge.

31) i havent seen anybody mention this but if there is prone i will be soo mad.

Nice topic, you should make this a poll, you have some pretty good ideas and i like that you actually looked around the site to gather some information but taking votes could give a general consensus feel and allow the discussion to flow/focus and be easier to follow and not be paragraphs of agreeing and disagreeing

Nice list, hopefull 343i will come snooping along and see it. I really agree with almost everything on your list, especially different helmets having different HUDs. Except I dont want armor abilities back >.<

I've also noticed people complaining about what they assume is going to be in Halo 4. That's what irritates me about getting on the Halo 4 topic. A true fan would stick with Halo and play it til the end....no matter what additions or subtractions they make to the games. As long as I have a gun and get to shoot something alieny, I'm fine with it.

@ThePunisher well the way i look at it is i see these people want to contribute to such a great company/series of games. or maby what you said and their just complaing. truthfuly when i heard about halo 4 as soon as it was up for pre-order i pre-orderd.

I like the idea of prone for sniping. I think they should keep armor abilities but make new different ones. They should speed up the motion and have greater jump height. The made the game in reach feel slow in reach by making it so slow to walk without sprint. I think they should bring equipment back. Use it as a special grenade or something. We could use a button on the D-pad for equipment. Take away sprint as an ability and give it a button because you should be able to run without having an ability for it. This is what i think. Plus having armor abilities and special grenades/equipment makes it better for people who want one or the other. Trip mines were very useful am I right? I want you guys to tell me what you think.

Sorry but those ideas are not Halo. Instead it sounds like your trying to mix BF3, CoD, and Halo into a single game. Halo is all spawning with the same equipment and finding better weapons, equipment, and grenades across the map. Basically your rewarded for living by getting more tools to kill with. So spawning will armor abilities or special nades really takes away from that feeling. Also, prone has never been in a Halo game and will completely wreck the idea.

 

But I do agree with you about equipment coming back, I thought they were very fair and a great addition to the game. Just as a pickup.
