Want the books to be films?

The Halo books. Instead of trying to come up with something why don't they just bring the books to life? Wouldn't Ghost of Onyx be cool?

Because that costs a lot of money and isn't a guarantee profit and it is WAYYYY too much work. Plus movies must cut story and important content that only books can provide. Its better to make custom Halo stories that are specifically made for film/TV like they're doing right now.

Absolutely not. Considering how they gave a giant middle finger to the books in terms of lore its just not worth it. More over game/book to movie translations have a habit of being very bad.
