  1. The Halo books. Instead of trying to come up with something why don't they just bring the books to life? Wouldn't Ghost of Onyx be cool?
  2. I enjoyed Silentium. Very good book, and very suspenseful as well. However, I felt it left some loose ends, and left many questions still unanswered. The whole Path Kethona thing felt detached from the storyline. How did that settlement of Forerunners get there? Whats the deal with all the empty Forerunner fleets and Precursor mumbo-jumbo? What exactly is that anchor thing, what is its purpose, and why is it there? But the biggest question still in my mind is: Where did the Forerunners go??? Was every single one of them consumed by the Flood or Halo? Or did some manage to get away? Did some possibly go live with the other Forerunners in Path Kethona? Maybe its just me, but I still feel empty as far as the Flood, Forerunners, Precursors, etc. I hope either Halo 5 and 6 cover this, or maybe more books will be released. Who knows? Maybe Infinity travels to Path Kethona and finds the Forerunner settlement? Oh and PS: Wasn't Infinity assembled in Path Kethona?? If so, why didn't the UNSC see any Forerunner or Precursor shenanigans such as empty ships and star roads?
  3. In the First look into halo 4 they mention that there are two books coming out: one from Karen Traviss, and one from Greg Bear in the Forunner series. Greg's books is not coming out until after halo 4 is released. I have two theories on why this is. 1st on is obvious that he will not have enough time to finish the book before the game comes out. In the first look they said that there is a specific reason to why it is comming out after the game release which leads me to think for my 2nd reason that is has specific information that cannot be found out until halo 4's release such as: who is the enemy, what happens to the ship at the end of Primordium (mabye it will show up in halo 4) things like that. Now also what do you think the new Karen Traviss book will be; sequel to glasslands or not, plot, what will relation be to halo 4(possibly with the spartans) i want to see what you think.
  4. What did you think of it? Issues with the canon? Characters? Favorite Part? Whatever you want. I haven't personally purchased it yet because for some reason I thought it came out on the 28th so when I heard it came out 2 days ago, I kicked myself. I'll add my thoughts later.
  5. So I read the second Halo book first then found out later, now im on chapter 32 of the first book...Im off somewhere because the spartans went to reach to get a crystal that warped hyper space, but on the game reach they got cortana, then in the book, Dr. Halsey (how ever u spell it) gave cortana to Captain Keys...yes im way behind but does it start to make since or am i just way off? sorry if there are multiple topics I had a lag
  6. This morning, 343i/Tor Books released the cover art for the second book in the Kilo-Five Trilogy, The Thursday War. Link below. http://halo.xbox.com/blogs/Headlines/post/2012/05/04/Tor-Books-Announces-the-Second-Halo-Novel-in-the-“Kilo-Five-Trilogy”-by-Karen-Traviss.aspx
