Yo 343 ! How about a Halo fighter?

Although, like most gamers, my favorite gaming genre is FPS (HALO series my fave of course),  I'm also a big fan of the fighters. You know, the Street Fighters, Mortal Kombats, Soul Calibur, etc. And with PS3 now coming out with God of War Ascension, which looks mostly like a fighter class game with a campaign too, I was thinking it would be really cool to see a Halo fighter. Hand to hand combat and melee weapons. Spartans, covenant alien races, flood, prometheans.  customizeable characters. new weapons.  Online challengers.  any chance we could ever see something like this?

 

How about the other Halo fans out there, would you be interested in a game like this?

I'm not too big on games likes this I personally think Halo should be the way it is now except maybe a racing gnre of the game lol that'd be awesome But I like the idea of Street Halo Fighter almost as much as I like the possibility of Master Chief party 9

I don't know about HALO the Fighter, but I think a HALO RPG would be great. I could also see a Space Combat sim in the HALO Universe (an extension of HALO Wars, maybe).

I suggest picking up Dead Or Alive 4 if you want to see what a fighting game with a Spartan would be like.

This Is a good Idea.

But the world of Halo Is not like you want It to be.

Sure maybe the race Idea Is good but the rest not really.

Honestly, If they did your Idea It would make the face of Halo even more worse than It Is right now.

Not just as Marines, you could also include ODSTs as party characters in a HALO RPG. You could even have an appearance by the Master Chief himself as a guest combatant.

But that game was crap.

 

I love fighting games, especially if I can make my own characters, but a Halo fighting game would feel like a blatant Money magnet. There'd be no way to justify it.

I when I see a fighter game, I think, "This looks ridiculous!" I'm sorry, but a Halo fighter game would make me seriously question 343industries' sanity.

Mortal Kombat 9 had Kratos in it.
Netherealm Studios couldn't reach an agreement with Microsoft, I'm pretty sure they were trying to get Master Chief or Marcus Fenix.
I would like to see some cameos, but that's it.
What I would want is a Halo MMO/RPG.

No, the Halo universe lacks depth for that.

I am very big on games like this. Although, Halo is made to be a FPS. I mean, honestly, it wouldn't make sense to have a Halo fighter. Regardless, if they did end up making one, (although highly unlikely) I might end up purchasing it, more likely that I would, only because of it being a Halo game. I mean, a Halo fan would do something like that. Right?
