Slayer25
What do you think about it? I was bad with BR, than I trade for DMR and I'm killing a lot and pretty easy. It's almost a super gun. It needs a nerf, right?
wjc3688
I agree it's better than its alternatives, but given that they all serve the same basic purpose, I don't see much reason for a nerf. If you nerf the DMR then one of the other 3 precision weapons will just be chosen instead, leading people to start complaining that the new most popular weapon is now "overpowered."

ProudDrunkIrish
The DMR is the best loadout gun in the game, thats an accepted fact at this stage, nothing comes close. The carbine is good if you are against noobs as the high fire rate panicks them but any decent player with a dmr will kill a carbine user. The BR is good in smaller maps, its pretty much equal to the DMR, this may have to do with personal prefence. The light rifle is very good long range weapon but with a reticle that cannot be seen against certain backgrounds and weak kill power zoomed out it has its flaws. So yes DMR is top dog and should have been nerfed but that has yet to happen.
SykoWolf
The DMR is my weapon of choice...doesn't mean i have no skill, it takes skill to land every single shot, especially when you can be beat in close range...

ProudDrunkIrish
The fire rate of DMR is much batter than BR's. Indeed it is but in close quarters with lots of movement it is easier to follow and hit a person with a BR than a DMR, now this is just what I have found, the dmr is still very effective but the ability of being able to drag a Burst across an enemy means you can hit every time (same reason BR is better for SWAT) The DMR is the best and has the fastest kill time so all in all its the best loadout weapon. It could do with a bit of nerfing, also its autoaim/aim assist when zoomed out is insane, many times I get headshots when I can tell you i was aiming off target entirely. They made it way too easy to use, really they should have almost no aim assist on it.
Cpt Picardo
The DMR is good but i could be better! Full auto DMR is what i want.

The only big issue with the DMR is that it trumps the BR in places it shouldn't. If you have two weapons that are equal at middle range, but one trumps the other in long range, there's a problem. But then again I'm only talking about the main choices, the AR, BR, and DMR. I'm actually not too sure where the Carbine stands...

DarkStar
I think if they made the reticile more like the sniper, it might help balance the DMR and make it more difficult to use at close range.
tdizzle1194
I wouldn't say that the DMR is a "God" weapon per say...it doesn't need to be nerfed. I would however say that it is the best gun in the game, and hence why I use it on all my classes. But you could be just as successful with the other precision weapons, it just depends on how the guns suit you personally.
