  1. Dear all, I have come to realise that Halo2 PC servers will not be online indefinately, this in itself is not a problem, a game like so many things in life has to come to an end and although Im fairly new to the PC version I have come to enjoy it very much. The population currently is past what many other publishers would deem dead and I am grateful for the servers being kept online. All I ask is that when 343i/Microsoft decide to shut down the severs please give adeqaute notice so the people who enjoy Halo 2 Vista can cram all the online play and achievements in before the close and have one final hurrah for the game. Thank you very much for your time, hopefully someone higher up will consider this at the least, Sincerely, HuxWard
  2. Microsoft has announced that Xbox.com's PC market place will be shut down next week an article from PC Gamer has reported. Microsoft has announced this on their games for windows facebook page, they told users they will no longer be able to purchase PC games from the marketplace but can still use games they have already purchased. “As part of the upcoming Xbox 360 system update, Microsoft Points will be retired, and the Xbox.com PC marketplace will be closed as of August 22, 2013. We encourage you to spend your Microsoft Points balance prior to this change. Although you will not be able to purchase new games, you can continue to enjoy previously purchased content by downloading them through the Games for Windows LIVE client software as usual." For those who have been planning to purchase any games from the PC market place get them quick as there is only 6 day's until the market place is shut down.
  3. Halo: Combat Evolved for the PC and many other games that are hosted by Gamespy are set to be shut down on May 31st. Gamespy issued an announcement on their site confirming that their online servers for all games that they host will soon cease to be in service. "Effective May 31, 2014, GameSpy will cease providing all hosted services for all games still using GameSpy. If you have any questions about how this impacts your favorite title please contact the game’s publisher for more information. Thanks for a great ride! - See more" This action gamespy has taken will effect hundreds of games and thousands of gamers who use their services as it will all come to an end next month. After this news broke out many are hoping their Gamespy hosted games will then move to steam in the future. What do you think about this news, does this effect your gaming life? Do you play Halo: Combat Evolved on PC? Source: Gamespy
  4. Ok... this is just weird. On the level "Shutdown" in the back of the Pelican you need to pilot, there are two 'legs' or landing gear. Now, if you are in the edge of the 'leg', jump, and it will hit you, launching you a small distance in a random angle! Seriously, it's a fun easter egg, but, WHY?? I think it's the most pointless egg in the history of Halo... Anyway, if you can find a video of it post it here so I can add it. Thanks EDIT: I just found a video (with crappy quality though) that explains better:
  5. The method in which you use to get inside is applicable to the other ones on Shutdown. This is a minor bug/glitch and was posted for the sake of recording it as such. "Flood was here" LOL got to love the Bungie.net community
