    ODST's

Yah man this game was based on a quick ****** and grab run to get the chief, and the chief was in the cryo chamber for 4 years, remember what cortana said " A lot can change in 4 years" just be patient, the ODST's Brutes and all the other enemies that were left out will be coming back with a bang eventually.

    The Flood?

The flood is more or less in dis-array due to the loss of the grave mind which was the primary intellectual leader of the flood, and another thing to consider is the chief has been in a cryo chamber for 4 years, we don't really know what's happening in the halo universe at the moment, just be prepared to expect anything. All it takes is one flood pod to destroy and entire species, and with how adaptable and intelligent this parasite is we'll most likely see them in future games.
  3. No way man, the majority if not all of the Halo fans will find that to be a terrible idea, it takes out strategy. Having all the weapons you want really only worked in 007 Goldeneye and Perfect Dark because they were the ones that came out with the idea, that's what made their game unique and that's why people liked that game, Halo has made too many games to make adverse changes like that. And having no shield unless you find one changes up the technology with no explanation, it wouldn't work man, having a shield and worrying about your shield recharge meter is what made Halo stand out from the other FPS games, this idea will get shot down in all ways, shapes and forms.
  4. I don't think Halo lost half of its online community in 3 and 4 because it had a more complex set up, and mimicked other FPS multiplayer franchises, they just had more competition once 3 and 4 came out, the Call of Duty, and Battlefield Franchise, and all in all the FPS games just exploded, if Halo were to go back to "it's roots" and you took away armor capabilities, load outs, the sprint capability, people wouldn't dig that, I wouldn't for sure, but if we brought dual wielding back, that would rule.
  5. On the sprint topic lets just put gameplay of past games to the side and put this into perspective, you're playing as highly trained super soldiers who are boarder line super human and they got shot up with a supplement that makes them even more so, with that being said, I think the basic human ability to sprint to avoid getting killed is quite practical. There is no reason why highly trained and conditioned super soldiers can't sprint, that's just not logical. Then with finesse mode, you then come off as a guy who used jumping in the old games to avoid death, and you are just seeming to reinforce your style, and take away the new style by sprinting. I agree with the D-pad statement, it is quite neglected and we could use that for many different uses allowing more Armor, Vision, and equipment selection capabilities. Now with your duel wielding statement, I agree with just bringing it back, I don't agree with wielding primary and power weapons, it will look too awkward and that will over power the primaries everyone will do it, then when you added wall running, if you combine that with finesse and duel wielding primaries and power weapons its like a perverted version of the resident evil movie of the chick doing flips and wall running stunts with duel wielding weapons, but with Spartans, its something that no one will be ready for until another 5 or 10 years from now if not ever.
  6. Whatever they do it's going to be great, I'll be on board, all the Halo games that have came out have delivered when it has came to my experience. I will be really curious to see what they will do with the flood in Halo 2, the dual wielding will be awesome to get use to again, the cinematics were incredible in Halo 2 and seeing in redone on the Xbox one will be incredible. And yes they need to have a redone and remastered Halo 2 multiplayer, and they will most certainly will come out with map packs, probably do some forge world stuff. I'm sure they will do that, and if they do it's going to rake in a lot of money that will help amplify the development of Halo 5, with that being said I would be fine with them coming out with Halo 2 anniversary, it will only make Halo 5 better, Masterful games, art pieces, and works take time, and if we gave them the time they will return the favor 10 fold with an incredible Halo 5 game. On the other hand I'm just soooooo curious to see what Halo 5 has to offer when it comes to how the chief is going to cope with the lose of cortana, what's going on with the brutes, other weapon advancements the UNSC has made, the condition of earth, and the most intriguing, how Dr. Halsey is going to get revenge, then you also have all the other installations that were discovered by the device that was given to Halsey, and what secrets those installations have to provide. Other alien races that were kept away like the flood were? Who knows, I'm just excited and I can't wait for the mystery to unfold.
  7. A Halo 2 anniversary will look amazing on the Xbox one, the flood will be crazy, considering how crazy the flood looks on the Halo 4 multiplayer game type "The Flood". On the other hand, I'm just too overly excited about Halo 5 and what its going to bring, I would much rather have that to play by this year then Halo 2 anniversary, but if that's the case, then they better go above and beyond any and all standards and expectations we have for Halo 5, I just want to know what's going on with the covenant, why there isn't any brutes, and how the Chief is going to overcome the loss of Cortana, is just seems like 343 opened up a whole entire new dimension in the Halo Universe and I just can't wait.
  8. Awesomeness, Halo is the reason the XBox still exists so having Cortana integrated into the XBox One makes complete sense.
  9. First I'd like to tell people about my Halo experience and back ground. I started playing Halo when I was 11 back on November 15th 2001. Since then I've been a dedicated fan, I didn't have an internet connection back then so I repeatedly played the campaign over and over again due to the captivation the game had over my young spongie mind. From then on I pre-ordered all the games, I read The Fall of Reach right when it came out. I'm 23 now, I've been playing Halo for 13 years now. From my experience I would like to point out the faults and what is missing that would, if added to the game, would simply compliment the franchise, and add more intensity and depth into the Halo Universe. We need to get the United Rebel Front in the action. Yes Forward Unto Dawn made it look like they sided with the UNSC when the covenant was discovered, but it seems as though the grudge between these two factions are too great. The tactics the United Rebel Front use are of gorilla warfare origins. They are the scavengers of the intergalactic age. To me the URF would lay low in a situation like this, they would let the UNSC take the major blow while they regroup, re-prioritize, and reconsider their tactics. What I would like to see in the following Halo games is a re-equipped and a very well reinforced UFR with Human/Covenant hybrid weapons, ships, shield and armor systems. It's a little odd that at this point of the franchise the UNSC hasn't done any of that yet, knowing human nature, whenever we discover a new type of metal or anything along those lines we make sure to integrate it into our system in anyway we can. I would like to see a human/alien hybrid weapon that shoots plasma/lead rounds, maybe the tip of the bullet has a plasma capsule built into it so it acts like a hollow round but the plasma allows it to go through any armor system like a hot knife through butter, and the remainder of the lead bullet mimics the hollow round and fragments when its going through the designated target. This is a whole entire new can of worms, and it only is another aspect of the game that will provide more to discover, understand, and kill. The best feature this game has to provide are the number of factions that are involved in the game, the UNSC vs. The Covenant, The Flood, The Promethians, The Sentinels (or the machines), and then the UFR would be the icing on the cake. I also like the Brute rebellion that just adds another faction, and the way Halo 4 turned out, it looks like they aren't apart of the covenant anymore. I love all the games, the anniversary edition was cool, the way I saw it though, you should've just carried everything over from Halo:Reach to the anniversary edition, since it was a prequel that had more technology then all the other games, it would've been more logical to add the graphics, weapons and technology into that game, so then when the anniversary edition for Halo 2 on the Xbox one came out, you wouldn't have to hold anything back. Another aspect of the game where I would love to see improvements, is the gore, you guys really toned it down for Halo 4, I was rather disappointed, even more so due to the fact of how bloody you made the anniversary edition, remember your target audience, they are people 18 years and older, they aren't Soccer Mommies who enviously buy Halo for their begging, annoying, 13 year old kids, they aren't your real fans, people like me are, and saying that, please add decapitations, when I shoot something in the head with a sniper rifle that most likely has a caliber greater then .50, I want that head gone, and if I have to go for the 2 shots to the body to get a kill, I want to see big holes where I landed those hits, and when I use an 8 Gauge shotgun on someone at point blank range I want to see armor fragments, blood, skin, body pieces go all over the place like the confetti that you have for the grunt birthday party skull, show different insert and exit wound types for the different type of weapons, so when you run by some dead bodies you can tell what weapon they got killed by. For example when I run by some dead bodies I want to think, wow that guy got shot up by the MA5B really good, or WHOAH that guy definitely got lit up by dual wielding sub machine guns, or OK I better be careful around the corners because these guys look like they got shot up by a shotgun, OR I better watch out for the sniper that took that guys head off. OR I better look out for a swordsman because 70% of that guys torso is decapitated, AND WOW there's just a crater with blood and body parts all over the place I better look out for the guy with the Rocket Launcher. Maybe play Soldier of Fortune, and Turok Seed of Evil to get some inspiration. If you did this people wouldn't play call of duty anymore. Now I put a lot on the plate, so please, a little feedback would be awesome. With Complete Devotion, Jake Beckman (Sphealix)
