Enjoyment, incredible story telling in campaign. -
Interesting that they deny it, yet pull the tweet. You gotta love twitter and the random outbursts, bet that guy is mopping out the toilets now.

i got this info as well More next-gen console rumours now, as a Crytek developer has today tweeted that the next Xbox 360 is apparently codenamed 'Durango', following a developers summit held in London. Crytek Senior Technical Designer, Sean Tracy wrote the offending tweet on his Twitter feed earlier today: "Enjoying the Durango developers summit in London. So far, great swag and interesting talks." The tweet was hastily removed by Tracy, just like the majority of revelatory tweets, which could well speak volumes. Does that mean that there was a next-generation Xbox in London recently? It would certainly appear so. Past rumours regarding the codename Durango have also been swirling around the web, adding extra credibility to this latest tidbit. So, apparently Microsoft's next console currently shares its name with a state in Mexico. Will we be seeing an announcement for the next Xbox later this year though? Who knows? All you have to do is stay tuned, folks! [Via Eurogamer]

Today, the internet is ablaze with news stories reporting that Doom 4 hasn't been cancelled in the wake of rumours claiming that the id Tech 5 powered sequel had been binned. . AllGamesBeta has the leaked shots, which show some post-apocalyptic scenes depicting destroyed streets, abandoned storefronts and raging hurricanes. The images are not all that dissimilar to Rage's aesthetic - albeit a lot darker and more foreboding - which nailed the end of the world vibe with ramshackle settlements and vast plains plagued by bandits and mutants. Just imagine some hellish alien monsters in the images, and hey presto, it's Doom 4. Or is it? As these are leaked shots, there's no guarantee that they're genuine, but they certainly look the part. If this is the direction id Software is taking for Doom 4, then it'll certainly be different. Goodbye claustrohobic corridors, hello open streets? We'll have to wait to find out when id and Bethesda decide to release more info on the DEFINITELY NOT CANCELLED Doom 4. Here's a handful of the leaked shots. [Via VG247]

SEGA has today made it official, announcing the game's impending launch for current-gen consoles this summer. The 2000 Dreamcast classic, famed for it's (at the time) groundbreaking cel-shaded art style and frantic skating and wall-tagging gameplay. DJ Professor K, Beat, Gum and all of the GGs will be hitting the streets of future Tokyo once more, as you race around tagging the streets to mark your turf. Jet Set Radio for XBLA will have the same genre-blending soundtrack and striking art-style intact, albeit with an HD makeover, while SEGA is holding a contest that will enable fans to create eighteen pieces of digital graffiti art that'll be seen in the game. You can enter the competition at www.sega.com/jsrcontest, where you'll also find full details on how to enter, as well as terms, rules and so on. Winners will receive a prize pack which includes a solar-powered Rukus bluetooth headset. Exact dates and pricing for Jet Set Radio has yet to be confirmed, with only a summer 2012 release window currently announced. Check out the first three Jet Set Radio HD screens below

Should you decide to pre-order Sniper Elite V2 before May 4th, you'll be given a crack at assassinating one of the most evil men to ever rise to power. No, not Rupert Murdoch. In the 'Assassinate the Führer' pre-order mission for Sniper Elite V2, you'll get two new weapons - the Soviet semi-automatic battle rifle SVT-40 and the standard German service rifle Kar 98 - and a chance to change history. Receiving intel that Hitler is returning from Berchtesgaden to Berlin via his personal train, you'll need to intercept the Führer's arrival and take him down as quickly as possible. You'll apparently only be given a single opportunity to kill Hitler, which means one bullet and just one chance to live out a gory episode of Quantum Leap. You'd better make that one bullet count then. Sniper Elite V2 will be blasting bullets through brains from April 17th in North America and May 4th in Europe. Check out the Hitler render and Assassinate the Führer' screenshot below.

Microsoft has today announced the white Xbox 360 Slim Special Edition Kinect Family Bundle, harking back to the original colour of the Xbox 360 when it first launched way back in 2005, lest we forget. The limited edition bundle packs a glossy white Xbox 360 Slim 4GB console, a glossy white Kinect sensor, a white Xbox 360 controller and two Kinect games to go with it all. That'll be Kinect Adventures and the first Kinect Sports. And finally, there's also a three month Xbox Live Gold membership in the box too. Being shipped out to US retailers today, the Special Edition White Xbox 360 4GB Bundle is available in the US and around the world, with the console coming to Europe and Brazil in the next few months. It retails for an MSRP of USD $299.99 and you can also pick up the white controller on its own for USD $49.99. Cast your eyes upon the white Xbox 360 Slim below. <courtesy of majornelson>

Hello! Here’s all the XBLA games, add-ons, deals, GoDs, Demos, avatar stuff and movies you can expect on Live this week. Go on, gorge yourself. This week's offerings are headed up by the appearance of Nexuiz on XBLA. It’s a fast-paced arena shooter that harks back to the good old twitchy days of Unreal Tournament. Whether it can live up to its heritage, and more importantly support a decent community, remains to be seen. But it’s going to give it a fragging good shot anyway. Elsewhere, Lost Archive DLC for AssCRev offers up some new Desmond action. The response from our community suggests you’re not up for that though, so perhaps a Sazh Episode for FFXIII-2 is more your style? Both are available, for 800 and 400 MSP respectively. In addition to this there’s some half-decent discounts on a bunch of Gears 3 stuff, Madden 12 and Harry Potter hit GoD and the demo for FIFA Street arrives. You would do well to give that last one a try. Our hands-on session with EA Sports’ skillful reboot was mightily impressive. Read on for the full breakdown. Xbox Live Arcade •Nexuiz (THQ) - 29 Feb - 800 MSP Game Add-Ons •Assassin's Creed Revelations Lost Archive (Ubisoft) - 28 Feb - 800 MSP •Dance Central 2: LMFAO ft. Critical Mass, a developer whose CV includes pitching in on games like Rift, Epic Mickey and Tabula Rasa, is spreading its wings with its very own project based upon a movie license. It's a video game version of the 1999 Boston-set cult crime thriller, The Boondock Saints, featuring the vengeful MacManus twins. Set to be a "full-on co-op shooter", Critical Mass wants to release The Boondock Saints Video Game as a proper retail product, but failing that the game might go downloadable and episodic instead. "We don't want to do a crap-ass franchise game," Critical Mass CEO Matt Scibilia told G4. "We're staying true to the content. We're looking to expand the story, not just retell the franchise." And stay true to the franchise it shall, according to Scibilia: "The Boondock Saints characters are so strong - the banter, the relationships between Rocco and the brothers, the Catholicism, that will all be featured in the game." There's even a motion comic being planned for release alongside the game. Critical Mass will be joined by some of the original Boondock Saints cast at SXSW's Screenburn event in Austin, Texas on March 11th to talk more about the details of the game. The developer will then be showing off the game during secret sessions at PAX East in April.

With the evidence for next-generation consoles launching within the next year or so steadily mounting up, Bethesda Game Studios has gone and thrown a bit more onto the pile with a job listingsuggesting that work could soon be underway on the Skyrim developer's first next-gen title. "Bethesda Game Studios is looking for experienced programmers to work on cutting-edge technology for an unannounced game on future-generation consoles," reads the job posting in question. Could we be looking at more Elder Scrolls or perhaps a Fallout sequel for the next wave of consoles? It's possible. ZeniMax also recently acquired the rights to develop a Fallout MMO, and with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim shipping a staggering 10 million units to date, we imagine either IP on a next-gen console will go down pretty well. That said, it is Fallout's turn... [Via Game Informer]

Here’s a launch trailer for Nexuiz, the timed-exclusive XBLA FPS from Illfonic. Set to hit tomorrow, the fast-paced arena shooter struggled to pick up a publisher early in its life. But thanks to THQ, the old-school, twitchy frag fest lived to fight another day. Now it’s headed to digital distribution platforms and looks like it could offer a diversionary laugh. If the servers are populated enough, that is. Check out the trailer below, along with some new screens of the game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dVnRu7roYT0

Fable developer Lionhead has launched a countdown clock pointing to next week. What could it be preparing to announce? The Microsoft-owned studio, founded by Peter Molyneux, is known to be working on the “it’s not on rails!” Fable: The Journey. We also know they’ve worked on the Kinect-enabled child bothering sim, Milo and Kate, but last we heard that was on the backburner. So, what is it? Truth is we don’t know. We do know, however, that the countdown clock points to next week, during the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. Molyneux had been scheduled to talk there, but cancelled at the last minute. Start speculating now, people. What do you reckon it is?

With EA apparently looking to expand the Dead Space series beyond its established third-person roots, a job listing could be pointing to an entirely new direction for the next game in the franchise, as Visceral Games is searching for a Multiplayer Level Designer with plenty of FPS experience. In the job listing, there's the promise of "a major opportunity to contribute creatively to an exciting IP", providing you're "an avid FPS gamer" with "previous experience as a Multiplayer Level Designer on shipped shooter/action titles". It also asks that the ideal candidate be able to "conceptualise, direct, and build multiplayer levels for the game" and create "believable real world multiplayer level designs". Lived-in, believable environments are key to Dead Space's innate terror, so as OXM points out, hiring a designer with an eye for building convincing real world locations makes a lot of sense. Previous rumours suggested that Dead Space 3 - assuming it is in development at Visceral - could be set upon an ice planet called Tau Volantis where Isaac supposedly encounters an enemy known only as the 'hive mind'. This previous rumour also suggested that Isaac might be stalked and constantly taunted by 'Shadow Isaac', a dark, twisted and sarcastic version of himself in Dead Space 3. Visceral Games is also on the look out for an Environment Artist to join its Montreal studio and specifically work on the Dead Space franchise in some capacity. So, that's a confirmation of sorts. The Dead Space series is set to return in some form or another in the near future. Whether that form is an FPS with an emphasis on multiplayer however, remains to be seen.

If The Best Is Yet To Come, What Is It?

What am I looking forward to this year? Halo 4 The anticipation of loading it up for the first time is killing me My best games of last year? Gears of War 3, Halo Anniversary. Gears of War 3 takes everything from the previous 2 games, adds a bit more, and throws up GOW3. Halo Anniversary brings the first Halo to the Xbox 360, also it brings the fabled skull hunting back, and classic remade mama to Reach, the complete package -
Some fresh details on Danger Close's next crack at the Medal of Honor series reboot, Medal of Honor: Warfighter, have emerged from the pages of the US version of OXM, following the game's official announcement last week. First off, Medal of Honor's Tier 1 Operators will be making a comeback, while DICE's Frostbite 2.0 engine will be behind the game's visuals and mechanics. Details like swaying ceiling fittings, splintering wood and stacks of paper flying up from desks will all be catered for by Frostbite 2.0, while multiplayer will also use the same engine and will be developed in-house by Danger Close. Multiplayer promises to offer a variety of global Tier 1 badasses, including the British SAS, the Australian SASR, German KSK and Polish Grom. The single-player campaign meanwhile, will see the return of Preacher, Voodoo and Mother, as well as other major characters, with the narrative based loosely upon real events and the testomonials of actual Tier 1 Operators who have co-written the story during their mission downtime. You'll apparently visit a range of exotic locations, including a flooded Isabela City in the Phillipines. Danger Close is focusing on "authenticity" rather than "simulation" too, so health will still regenerate. More player choice during missions is also supposedly on the cards, such as how to breach a door - flashbangs, C4 or a good, old-fashioned boot - and there may also be a one-shot kill "hardcore" mode to test veteran FPS players. Finally, Danger Close is promising co-op support of some description for Warfighter, with a separate campaign a la Battlefield 3 the most likely implementation. Medal of Honor: Warfighter is slated for launch in October 2012

Spectral Jester replied to Aztec Asshawk's topic in Halo CE + Anniversary
Only with the terminals, you need to find all the terminals in Halo Combat Evolved Anniversary, once you've done that go to this this thread to get 100,000cR in Halo Reach. http://www.343industries.org/forum/topic/4769-secret-terminal-in-halo-waypoint-and-how-to-get-it/ -
I so agree with this, before noble map pack it was just 2, spire and vineyard, then noble came out and added breakpoint which was awesome, then they changed the playlists and breakpoint never appeared again lol. Could do with 2 more maps for invasion or maybe make noble map pack free.

I fake it you know where it is, but can't grenade jump to it, if your having problems greande jumping, fire up a guest profile, have the guest stand on the corner. Use the rocket launcher (which is the next beach along near a warthog) jump to it as you fire a rocket at the guest this will blow you up to the ledge. Oh nearly forgot get the overshield from outside as well.

Look what I found?!? What a epic thread
