Microsoft is unlocking all of the entertainment apps on the Xbox Live dashboard in the UK this weekend, allowing XBL Silver subscribers access to a variety of services including 4OD, BBC iPlayer, Demand 5, last.fm, Crackle, VEVO, Screenrush, YouTube, Dailymotion, blinkbox, Muzu.tv, msn Video and social apps Facebook and Twitter. You'll also be able to take out 30-day trials of Netflix or LOVEFiLM if you haven't already, and enjoy all of the content open to Xbox Live Gold subscribers. Movies, TV & Music unlocked for everyone, begins on April 20th and runs until April 23rd, giving you the perfect excuse to kick back and relax with some TV over the weekend

It seems that 343 Industries' efforts to shake up Halo 4's multiplayer with new modes and an overhauling of classic game types will also see the introduction of a new mode called 'Regicide', in which one player assumes the role of King and everyone else seeks to usurp his throne and kill him. It's like Game of Thrones in space. The new mode is revealed in a video interview with Halo 4's Lead Multiplayer Designer, Brad Welch over on Game Informer, detailing a twist on the free-for-all deathmatch. Killing the King in Regicide grants you the huge bounty upon their head, while killing the other players will still grant you a point apiece. The bounty on the King's head increases as the match progresses, until they're dead. There's also rumours echoing around the web that later today will see a major Halo 4 announcement, with reports suggesting that a November 6th, 2012 release date might be revealed. Capcom has announced that the Dragon's Dogma demo will be landing next week, giving you a taster of the open-world monster-slaying high fantasy ahead of its May release, in which you assume the role of hero with faithful Pawns fighting at your side. In the demo, you'll be given access to two of Dragon's Dogma's prologue quests in which you can fully customise your character, choosing from two of the game's classes (Fighter or Strider) and then venture forth to kill the Griffin and Chimera with your three Pawns in tow. You'll then be able to port your created character across from the demo - which releases on Xbox Live from April 24th - into the full version of Dragon's Dogma when it launches on May 22nd in North America and May 25th in Europe.
