  1. Actually, this one isn't fanmade lol This was uploaded to Machinima in 2009. My post said that there was SUPPOSED to be a Halo movie coming out this year. It's supposedly cancelled though. Also, this movie was going to be about the ODSTs who were affected by Master Chief, and who supported Master Chief. The only actual full scene that they shot was of Marine's locating Master Chief's re-entry location so that a search and rescue team could pick him up later. There were many hurdles that they had to go through with this movie (which is why it was cancelled). One of which was the script. They were having difficulties financially because Microsoft is greedy. However, Frankie said that if they will make a movie when the time is right to make a movie. There has been speculation that the fate of the Halo movie is directly based off of Halo 4's success. If Halo 4 goes well, then Microsoft will probably help fund a movie.
  2. Did you know that people have been saying that a Halo movie is supposed to be coming out this year?
  3. No problem lol That's alright, you just gotta think of something else now xD
  4. The awkward moment when you and an elite come face to face after turning corners and just stare at each other for a second.
  5. Welcome to our little corner of the Haloverse. I hope you have a wonderful time here.
  6. Did you know that the Pillar of Autumn is actually an old type of ship that had been given some relatively new upgrades and was refitted for the express purpose of capturing a covenant cruiser?
  7. Actually, the brutes were pretending to make friends while they were actually secretly trying to find forerunner relics, which their computer had said Harvest was full of. It was later discovered that the relics their computers were identifying were actually "Reclaimers", human beings. The hierarchs (who at the time were actually the equivalent of a regional manager in a company like Wal-Mart) mistook this as them being forerunners that were "left behind", and weren't able to take the Great Journey. The Covenant was founded on the belief that EVERYONE could take the Great Journey, so if news of this spread the very foundation of the covenant would be destroyed. So Truth schemed his way into the position of Hierarch (taking the only other two who knew this secret with him to the top) and declared that the humans were heretics who destroy forerunner relics, thus starting the "cleansing" of humanity (also known as the Human-Covenant war).
  8. I am finally a Mythic. Now, for Noble. -.-
  9. Indeed, it sounds like what this person is talking about is the "Head Glitch". See, where the enemies reticle is isn't actually where there rifle is, it's a bit above it. This can be utilized quite effectively in team snipers while taking cover. Biggles should know what I'm talking about, he is the one who told me about it. (Remember, the guy in the rock on hemorrhage?) It makes it to where you can't see enough of their head to get a shot, but they can see enough of yours to.
  10. I hereby endorse this message. No one is allowed to be a war criminal but me dammit!
  11. ^^^ Pm the CRAP outta this guy ;D lol just joking, don't do that. That would be mean. Funny, but mean. Anyways, welcome to the forum. Feel free to express your opinion (don't post it as "fact" or you will get creamed, and not in a good way) and just remember, they are always behind you...
  12. I'll only accept you as part of this community if you read ALL of the books! Just kidding You only have to read 50% of them >.> Lol anyways welcome to the forum.
  13. I gotta go with the beam rifle on this one. Sure, the human sniper has a four mag clip, but if used right you can get three shots out of a beam rifle before it overheats (just gotta wait an extra second before firing your second shot). Plus, overall, it has more ammo than a human sniper. Plus the twang. Gotta love that twang. To be honest, the real reason I'm voting beam rifle is because I got WAY more kills with it on Halo 3 than I did with the Sniper lol
  14. Not quite. Most of us had known there would be a Halo 4. Master Chief had to come out of space somehow. I understand how you could feel this way, but are you honestly going to tell me that you are fine with the way Halo 3 ended? That you would rather not see Master Chief rescued? To have the hero that almost single handedly ended the covenant war slowly die in space, never to see Earth, the people he saved, or anyone ever again? To have Cortana go rampant and slowly but surely unravel herself? While you are entitled to your opinion on what makes Halo Halo, I am afraid that I must vehemently disagree with you on this one. True, the variations of the enemy did play a huge factor (which, bear in mind, the enemy may still be very versatile in what they look like and how they act), but to me the key element was Master Chief giving his all and never giving up to do what must be done to save humanity. This will obviously still be in the next trilogy. I honestly doubt that the enemy will be forerunners, but even if they are they were still part of the original trilogy whether you like it or not. Who built the Halo arrays (which the games name is from)? Who made 343 Guilty Spark? How can you call it change, when they were in the story-line all along? As far as canon goes, you should read the books if you haven't already. They fill in some pretty big gaps. I recommend Glasslands, it happens after Halo 3, and is said to be a prequel to Halo 4. Now we get to know where Master Chief ends up. And to answer your question, flood, insurrectionists, Sangheili zealots, Kig-Yar pirates, not to mention forerunners and precursers. It's a big Haloverse out there. I agree with the Spartan IV thing. However, armor may be customizable, you never know.To answer your questions in order of appearance: Because Master Chiefs armor has nanobots with automatically upgrade it however they can when given enough time to, it's been a few years so it's pretty obvious that they would upgrade basic weapons and vehicles, and the possibilities are almost endless. It seems you keep forgetting that in the time between Halo 3 and Halo 4, Master Chief has been out for a couple of YEARS. In the little amount of time between Halo CE and Halo 2, they changed so much that Halo 2 didn't even LOOK like Halo CE. The only two Halo games that looked and played even similar were Halo 2 and Halo 3. And Halo 3 still had some pretty drastic changes added into it (for instance, no longer fighting against elites). Also, the pillars that made up the covenant (the prophets, the Sangheili, the Dreadnought, High Charity, and the tentative alliance between the species of the covenant) have all been either destroyed, or ripped from the covenant. The covenant is finished. What is the new enemy going to be? No one knows but 343i. You don't have enough information as of yet to form this opinion. It's inevitable that Halo is going to change. However, as long as it has Master Chief, or makes some sort of sense, it is still Halo. Very little information has even been released about Halo 4's story-line as of yet, so I have no idea how you "know" the things you claim to. No, the game is not going to be the game that you grew up with because it is evolving. That's what games DO. They get more advanced, more intricate. That doesn't mean they are going to be bad though. I really doubt that you will not enjoy Halo 4. It's going to be similar to Halo 3, but with some changes. Just like Halo 2 was similar to Halo CE, but with some changes. We don't know what we will be fighting against, we don't know what is going to happen, pretty much all we do know is that things are more advanced, the covenant is gone, and Master Chief is still alive and kicking someone's ass. You are putting to much thought into conjecture. Lighten up, have some fun. Also, I REALLY suggest picking up the Halo books if you haven't already. They pretty much explain everything.
  15. Frank O'Conner said that the covenant is finished, so it's probably flood or a slip of the tongue. Master Chief COULD face some covenant species, but not the covenant as a whole.
  16. The Elder Scrolls, Halo, Dues Ex, and Mass Effect. In that order. The Elder Scrolls because they give me a HUGE sandbox environment to play around in, and I can do almost anything I want. Halo because it makes me feel like a God, and it has an epic story-line (if you decide to pick up a book every once in a while). Dues Ex because it has THE most convoluted and intricate multi-story line I have EVER seen. And Mass Effect because it has a multi-story line that is based off of the previous game played.
  17. With the new TU making changes to the playlists, which one of these do you frequent the most? For me, it's still Team SWAT. I've always loved SWAT, and it's the playlist least effected by the TU. The reason I like it the most is because everyone is on an even ground. Everyone only takes one shot to the head to die. There are no armor lockers, jetpackers, or overshield campers. There are no rockets, swords, grenades, or anything like that. It's all about precision and speed. Who can hit the shot first? Anyways, that's my opinion. What's yours?
  18. Try refreshing it. It takes a few seconds to load for me as well lol
  19. You can have 8 people in a SWAT lobby, which locks the lobby. Then you just play SWAT Stockpile lol
  20. It would definitely be cool if you started out with clean armor at the beginning of the game and as you progressed through the game your armor becomes scratched, dinged, and worn. It would also be pretty cool if how much it was damaged was based on how much damage you've sustained so far in the story, or how many times you have died, or something like that. It would also be pretty awesome if you could choose whether or not your armor looked worn out in multiplayer, and how worn out it would look. :0
  21. Also, on second thought, could this topic be transferred to the 343industries forum? I had forgotten completely about it when I posted it here lol

  23. Did you know that the suffix "-ee" in a Sangheili name means that that Sangheili has joined the military. For instance, before Thel'Vadamee (the Arbiter) joined the covenant military he was known as Thel'Vadam. Using the "-ee" in one's name is a choice (in other words you do not have to if you do not want to) given to a Sangheili when they join the military. Using the "-ee" in ones name otherwise warrants death.
  24. Riding people on the other team like horses!
