carbine is not a plasma weapon, plasma weapons are for example: plasma pistol, energy sword, plasma rifle, plasma launcher etc..because plasma can be very inaccurate and slow at long range carbine usues radioactive projectiles. And because it shoots radioactive projectiles it penetrates easily trough flesh and bone, which seemes to me its a good headshot weapon.

another issue with reach split screen, is that if you play split screen you wont see other players from distance. Which also is very disturbing.

i forgot to mention in my last comment, that community maps are good because when you have played alot with the basic maps, you will eventually be a little bored of them after playing a while, this is why community maps are good, always something new

well then atleast you should be able to choose which one of BR or carbine you would like to start with, since they seems to be pretty similar. this would give the game more variety.

I think they should keep the community maps, though in a separate playlist. But no community maps would be in normal playlists like BTB or Infection etc. So community would have their own playlist with random gametypes and maps. Also i think that when you can make a map that other players can play in Matchmaking, keeps up the spirit for players to forge and play halo.

i liked the bloom, it was fun shooting with the AR and Repeater from distance

i liked the quit ban, though if sometimes when your internet really lagged many games and you timed out and the quit ban abnned you it would suck. But other wise, it gets rid of players who just want to play that EXCACT game type. But dont play reach if you dont like it! and spoil for people who wants to play a good game with even teams.its pretty hard to make a game that EVERYbody likes...

in halo 3 truth needed a human to avctivate the rings because the humans have similar hands as forerunners... maybe heads too

I would like to start with AR. Or all players should start with AR because if you have seen on halo 3 and halo reach where you spawned with br/dmr almost every player have the TOD dmr/br in every game which made it very lame. But because dmr/br/carmine is a good weapon and you spawn with it, you wont have to pick up other weapons... So it would be fun if you spawned with a poor weapon and had to fight to get a better weapon...but still the AR is good enough to kill others with "better" weapons. well this theory doesnt really apply in halo 4 anymore since you can choose which weapon you would like to start with...

yeah. the plasma rifle and fuel rod has been in halo ever since halo CE, so it would be a shame if they werent in the game... well.. it doesnt look like its halo 4... looks like its edited from reach or something... though this is only what i think, nothing is sure yet... and yeah it would suck if it werent in the game.... because its one of the few weapons in halo which have stayed since halo CE. yes i like the falcons more than hornets too,bacouse the hornets were a bit OP in my opinion, with their missiles and machine gun, But the falcon were more like a teamwork which i liked.EDIT: http://game2gether.d..._chiefhero3.jpg when i saw this picture, i looked closely on the small flying things under the ship looks like its falcons, and not hornets ;D

the weather setting in forge have been denied, problably because it would make too much lagg or so... but the elevator thing would be nice, though if you would make many things move at the same time, it would probably lagg too... but as 819 Impetuos Repercussion and I stated above, these ideas could make it to halo 5 or 6 if they are released to xbox 720

yeah you are right, the xbox 360 is about 7 years old already. So im hoping that halo 5 or 6 comes to xbox 720 because the graphics etc. has been the same for a few years on the xbox 360.

in my opinion they should either keep the elites in matchmaking or come up with a new replacement, Because in many other games you can only play as a human. And this is why halo is special because you can choose how you want to play in a special way... though if 343 would both keep the elites and come up with new playable creatures in matchmaking, would maybe screw up the balance in the game... I have to say i am a elite fan, and im both sad if they are'nt in matchmaking, but im also looking forward if they have a new creature you could play as! And i think it also would be time to come up with another playable charater because the elites doesnt have so much to do in halo 4 as maybe the forerunners, right? so thats why you should be able to play as a forerunner or something

well if they had a beta then it would propably have many bugs that they would then be able to fix to the real game... though it would maybe also scare some people to buy the real game like bf3

if there will be firefight it would be cool to fight against the flood though maybe the flood hasnt really got anything to do with halo 4... but another thing, that you should be able to see int FPS in the vehicles, like an option atleast

well yeah.. to play and have fun is the main reason to play but thats why i suggested, like some others said to combine the to ranking systems, you will still have alot of armor pieces to unlock with credits, like reach. and you have to be good to rank up like halo 3

well if it was 1 out of 16 players that were elites in halo 3 so why bother? and if you want just to play as humans who all have the same head why not play cod or something else.... this is halo

the rank at halo reach didnt show how good you were, just how much you played, because you got awarded for doing nothing sometimes but it was a funny thing with the credits and then you could buy armor etc. halo 3 with exp and highest skill, was very good in my opinion becouse it really showed how good you were. So just as some of you said, it would be good if you combined halo reach and halo 3 ranking systems. but the credits wouldnt have to do anything with the rank. Then it would be cool if you lost the game you wouldnt get any "team exp" or "winning exp" or something, just some credits for what just you have earned. and then you would have to have a certain amount of "team exp", highest skill and exp to gain rank. i think this would help up the teamwork in halo. also as some of you said its a good thing with the auto ban

i am 100% with you, personally i dont like the br or dmr since there are in my opinion so over powered at all times and ranges. I havent played halo 3 in a while but wasnt the br pretty over powered there too? anyways ive heard that in halo 4 the weapons will be good balanced, so the mid ranged weapons arent as good in cqb as before i hope

well the games have to follow the story, the books... so thats maybe one of the main reasons arby wont be in halo 4. halo reach btw didnt follow the story of the books, and so, it wasnt such a success as the other halos.

Im new on the forum, i joined it because im really excited about halo 4. Just hope that 343 will see what were wishing for, though it might be too late soon....
