He never said he was right. That is why he posted this for discussion. I am not saying he is right, nor am I saying he is wrong. I am saying keep it civil. Try not to provoke members. Staff Response If this topic gets out of hand it will be locked promptly. I think the labels and such that are placed on game devs, movie companies, and even regular people... I think they are just plain idiotic. Not everyone is going to have the same view. It looks like this: Winterville Co. Makes games with a lot of snow. Historically, every game has snow in it. lol. ur funni. OT: Look, either you mean the Sniper Rifle, or you are playing Swat... if neither or those two apply to you, then you really have no idea what you are talking about. The battle rifle is a four to five shot weapon, not a single shot weapon. If you are playing Swat, then any weapon you use can be a single shot weapon. The Sniper Rifle can also be a single shot weapon... but seriously... you must be trying to troll hard if you believe that the Battle Rifle is a single shot weapon. Here is some homework: Go into a custom game with a friend or guest. Choose a Battle Rifle as a weapon. Use default settings. Count how many shots it takes for the other guy to die... literally count how many times you pull the trigger then come let me know. If you don't want to, then I certainly have reason to believe that you've not played much Halo at all.

We are not actually 343 industries, we are a community fan forum. To contact the actual 343 Industries you will need to go to Halo Waypoint. However, you are more than welcome to stay and hang out with us. We have a nice community here that enjoys playing Halo and we are actively hosting events in Halo with custom games and contests.

As it is a new system it is being moved to, I wouldn't count on it. But as Caboose said, 343 Industries has yet to announce anything regarding this, so I would hold tight until then. I am sure that as the game gets closer to release we will be getting more and more information regarding it.

You really cannot compare the two games play style at all though. ODST is meant for the campaign, it was never built for a multiplayer... besides firefight. The other Halo games were built for campaign AND an online multiplayer experience where one team would win. Kind of like the classic gladiator arenas where the last man standing wins. The ranking system was there to help you get matched with people of a similar skill. ODST was not a typical Halo game... you didn't have strong shields, you were not as fast, and you really couldn't jump that high. You are an ODST... not a spartan. You shouldn't compare the two. Heck, they shouldn't even be in the same category. The ranking system took away from the story line? How? They are two separate monsters themselves. Ranking system is for Matchmaking, not campaign thus should not have any impact on the story line. So... you play a game where no one really wins (ODST) or you play a game where you compete to win (Halo 2, 3, Reach, 4). Two different game styles which should NOT be compared.
