  1. 1) WIzard. 2) Turf. 3) Coagulation. Done right. With vehicles. 4) Rat Race 5) Lockout You know Hang 'em High, Headlong, and Ivory Tower were just remade in Reach/Anniversary. Sanctuary was remade in a forge model as well in Asylum.
  2. What's wrong with a map full of power? Since we get no ammo drops we have to have something. I mean, if I'm the only one using DMR and I run out of ammo, I'm SOL since no one else on the map is dropping ammor for it. I'm hoping they fix it soon.
  3. I agree lol. I can't seem to get more than a couple kills when I get in one. I will say if your teammates hang out around you to protect you in it then the Mantis dominates. But if you get no support and are left high and dry then you can get taken care of pretty quickly.
  4. I never got the hate against Armor Lock. It wasn't that overpowered. It was really easy to time perfectly and drop a grenade right when it ran out. Or hang out behind the guy and assasinate him as they came out. About the only annoying thing was using it to kill Ghost's or other vehicles and making it impossible to splatter anyone
  5. I still say this is the worst decision for Halo. Honestly I had more fun playing games 4 vs 2 or even 3 vs 1. At least I could dictate the flow of the game and control area's of the maps that gave me the best possible chance at a win. Even then when I lost if I only lost by 2-5 kills I felt great pwning a-hole's who thought they were going to rofl-stomp me. It's really aggrevating coming in mid-match and trying to figure out the tempo of the game and how people are playing. Or coming in and getting one kill and the game ending. Or worse, starting a game with three people in the lobby but the server putting everyone on the red team and having the game end bc of no opponents. If they're going to do JIP they have have HAVE to implement a better system. I would gladly wait the extra 30 seconds to get paired with a full lobby and start a real game than start with half a team and limp through most of the game as people come and go. It's so frustrating
  6. I was just reminding him of the lack of BETA testing. With a release of this magnitude and the size of the game and the little real world testing his complaints of game play and programing need to be brought down realistic levels. Any new game is going to have issues. Any new game by first time developers is going to have issues. Let 343 figure out what needs fixing but we have to give them honest feedback of what's working and what isn't. I just added on the money fact because I think it's an amazing feat to sell that many copies for a game.
  7. How many first time companies have created a new game and released it (without a BETA mind you) and made $220 million in it's first 24 hours of sales? Either they made something that a buttload of people like or only a very few rich people do, and since I bought it and I'm not rich, I'm guessing it's a buttload of people.
  8. WHAT???!?!?!?!??!?!?!? You mean to tell me that they are going to have Regicide that averages only about 2,000 ppl when I play stay but rotate SWAT that averages as much or MORE then Slayer at 50,000 out? How hard is it to lump CTF, Regicide, and Oddball into one Objective playlist and give us SWAT, Snipers, and Slayer in another? Seriously? I'm already playing Reach again just for Team Snipers. If SWAT gets taken out permenantely I will have a hard time playing 4 over Reach/Halo 3 at that point as Slayer in 4 just doesn't do it for me. MEH. Please 343 don't do this to your player base as I know I'm not the only one given how many are playing SWAT right now

  11. Good 'ole dodgeball was a blast in Halo 3. Me and my friends enjoyed the heck out of it. Made a map and playlist in the Reach and going to do so in 4. If you aren't familar with it, basically it was an arena style map with two sides facing each other and a pit in the middle that kept both teams from jumping over to the other side to prevent melee kills and the like. Each player had a plasma pistol as a starting weapon with grenades. Grenades where then placed around the map. The premise was just like the real-life game: throw the ball (grenades) at the opposing team and try to 'stick' them to knock them out the game (kill). You only had one life and the last team standing won. Typically it was a best of five rounds as far as I remember. Also me and some friends played the heck out of Swatguns. No shields, 50% health, shotguns to the face all night. Very hectic and chaotic. I don't suggest doing this if you care about K/D ratio lol.
  12. I haven't had this problem but I HAVE had issues with Waypoint itself freezing and not playing video's. I've always assumed it was because so many users where accessing it with the new release but I'm not sure. It explains not loading video's but not the freezing. Maybe it's Waypoint and not the disc.....
  13. Agreed. I used to dominate with the DMR and thought I was great and stopped taking matches seriously. Now somehow ppl can kill me with the AR when I go against them with any precision weapon lol. Guess I need to step up my game.
