I once saw a guy with 3 wives, each wife had 4 children and each child had 2 pets, How many people/animals did i see?

Assuming that the guy, his wives, the kids, and the pets were the only people/animals you saw at that point in time then...

4 children per wife =4x3=12 children.

2 pets per child = 4x12=24 pets.

So, 1+3+12+24= 40! :D

How much can a woodchuck chuck wood?

A woodchuck would chuck as much wood as a woodchuck could chuck.

Why and how do you answer each question with so much precision?

Because answering questions is the key to destroying ignorance, and ignorance is a blight upon humanity. As for the how, I have a lot of time on my hands and therefor have a lot of time to study random things.

The real reason is that he cheats. ;)

On a serious note... question time! What was discovered in 1774 by Joseph Priestley, and how did he discover it?

Duh, Oxygen lol and he discovered it by experimenting on air. At the time, scientists believed that air was it's own element, rather than being comprised of several different elements. He set out to prove this wrong and to discover what makes air.

So you have proven to everyone here that you cheat...... K THX BAI!

Wolfram is simply put, a calculator. That's only cheating if I use it on a test. Plus, I did it in my head and on paper before resorting to Wolfram to make sure I was doing it correctly. Try losing with grace rather than screaming hacks.

How do i open up threads? please help :)

Oh this is an easy one :D

First, click the subforum you wish to post your thread in (some subforums are staff-only though, so post those in General Discussion and ask to have them moved if you need to)

Next, click the orange "Start a new thread" button at the top right (under the shout box) of your screen.

Then, type in your title, a few tags, and the body of your thread. :)

Did you answer all of these questions by using knowledge you already had stored within your head? Or did you use some kind of material such as dictionaries, internet, or people?

If you are asking if I look things up as I'm asked a question, then the answer is no. Unless it's a question that actually needs answered and I need to answer it 100% accurately or someone could end up worse for wear. You'll notice that fzdw stumped me, but only once because after I figured out that I didn't know that I researched everything I possibly could about that topic (pipes, welding, and chemicals relating to such) in case someone asked me a similar question at a later date.

I DO however fact check when someone says that I answered incorrectly, because I don't like answering a question wrong. If I really did answer the question wrong, which has only happened twice, then I say as much. If not, and the person making the claim is mistaken, then I will find a source to prove me right.

Luna approves of the above question! ^_^

Don't be jealous. Not my fault you can't do math. :P lol
