Anybody want to see a halo reach :odst game?

I just think it' sounds like a perfect game if they make it happen halo 3 odst was a really good game and the odsts came out in halo reach so why not make another odst game? Like why were they there ? What happened? Let me know what you think

I would rather we just abandon reach entirely now. With the animated series with Halo 5, we have now covered the same events at least four separate times (TFoR, TFoR Graphic Novel, TFoR animated series and Halo: Rech)

 

I would prefer that we move on to more interesting parts of the war and postwar conflicts like the ongoing Jiralhanae-Sangheili civil war.

 

Anyway, what do you mean by the "odsts came out in halo reach" because I'm presuming you don't mean they announced they were gay.

 

Because the ODST corps has been around for decades, if not centuries. Since the First Interplanetary War back in the 2100's.

What I meant by that is they came out in the level where the convent was glassing the city and noble six is trying to protect the Oni building

I was thinking post Covenant war with remaining Spartan 3s. Maybe you could wear SPI armor, or the same Reach armor.

 

I am on board, depending on how it's done. Also. Halo 5 should have Reach's armor.

Um, lets clear a few things up.

 

1 If I remember correctly the only remaining Spartan III's were on Onyx until they were rescued by Unsc forces. Since we have not heard about Spartan III's since then, it can be presumed the very few number of Spartan III's were absorbed into the Spartan IV program, of course this is just an assumption.

 

2 Only members of Noble team could wear the "Halo Reach armour" and the only member confirmed alive is Jun, so that is not going to happen, as for SPI, no, Spartan III's would just wear Spartan IV armour, fun fact there was already a small amount of Spartan IV's active at the end of the Human-Covenant war.

 

3 The Spartans in Halo 5 should have upgraded/updated armour and not the same armour as Reach because..... Armour advancements, those things happen.....

 

However I think Halo 5 should have had a more Reachier art style than a Halo 4 art style.

I would just like a new Halo ODST game. I honestly don't care what the setting is. I'll admit I got huge ODST vibes from New Alexandria. I'm not saying it should take place in New Alexandria but that's the vibe I got from it.

But you cant jump as high, you cant melee as hard and you don't have a shield...... essentially, Halo legendary.

 

Seriously, an Odst is just a handicapped Spartan and pretty much only because you cant melee as hard, jumping hardly matters and armour system you have in the game is pretty much like a shield.

You're absolutely right. That being said I'd still play a new ODST game. I think it would be neat if they made the ODST's rely on stealth more since they're not nearly as strong as spartans. They could add new silenced wepons and assassinations. I know you love Metal Gear, Caboose. Just think about it.

Oh, now I see your point I was thinking of playing as an Odst not the story behind it.

 

On that note I suppose I could be up for it especially if I had some stealth to it...

You call Odst dark? Odst is not dark, Halo as a series is hardly what I would call dark, the darkest game in the series was probably, Reach.

 

Because you know the Covenant just slaughtered millions of Humans.....
