Instead of having multiple topics regarding these issues this topic will serve as the Community Information Topic. So please post any and all technical issues you are experiencing with Halo 4 in this thread.

Remember we are a community forum, This thread serves the purpose of helping everyone in the community stay informed. It also helps users confirm if anyone else is experiencing the same issue as themselves. im having the same problems, ive reinstalled the game, turned my xbox on and off, nothing works it sucks

Today i got halo 4 and the multiplayer was great i was playing with my friends and everything then later today it de ranked me to level 1 then said i was unable to play multiplayer and i couldn't join any of my friends games. When i press start it shows me my real spartan and his real rank but online it doesn't any body else have this problem and if you do is there anyway to fix it or get in contact with 343,

I am having this same issue and i can not find any support for halo 4, its getting very very annoying.

Everyone is having this problem, if you press start though you can see you're still gaining exp points, it just doesn't update it to when you're playing. You'll still at least keep them all though after your matches and use it once the servers are fixed.

okay seriously some 343 employee needs to look at this because im getting so mad right now.thank god this is happening to someone else because i havent been able to find anyone else with this problem. If anyone knows what to do please say something

Mine is doing the same thing, my room mate it literally 10ft away and it is working fine for him..we have the same internet and both on wire connection, but my servers are down ? Very unsatisfied seeing as I bought the limited ed. Box and all and my game doesn't even work for multi player.

My character's level has been reset 2 times and I've only played this game for maybe no more than 5 hours....ridiculous

This has also happened to my bf twice and two of my other friends as well. I really hope this issue is going to get fixed asap because there is no bigger flaw then a progression game deleting your progression.

Guess I wont be playing until then, what a disappointment,

Problems I am seeing are the servers offline, unable to join any MP / Co-op games, when I can join I level up but then get reset to SR1 again, my unlocks are re-locked I cannot use them in the customisation section.

 

EDIT : Now 343 have sorted the servers out ALL my problems have cleared up, Great Job 343.

Same thing has been happening to me as everyone else. I hope it gets patched soon.

When i click on a friend and try to join his game, it will switch to another friend that has a party locked and says cant join. But the friend that has a open party will not allow me to join cause of the switch

Well, my brother was playing just fine on his account then as soon as I logged him off so I could play we had these server issues. It started saying that we couldn't connect to the halo 4 server. So then I went back to his account to see whether or not it was just my account, his account was unable to connect as well.

 

Sucks that on my day off I can't play..

I can't even connect to my friends via system link... I am supposed to have a party with a bunch of people over here later today to play Halo... How am I supposed to have this if I can't connect to the other systems in my own home???

Ive beat the mission "Dawn" on legendary solo and i didn't get my challenge awarded to me. Yet, it says I've completed the mission on solo legendary in the mission select.

yup same problem, i was SR8 then it demoted me and i lost all spartan ops so why did i pay 65 quid for a game where half of it doesnt work, Well done 343 say goodbye to your halo contract cant even get 7000 people online playin

Like all other big releases, this one was expected to have launch day problems. Try playing again in a month or so, things should be sorted out by then.

I just beat Halo 4 on Legendary solo and received all the achievements but no Mark VI armor and my service record says I am still in progress and have only completed the first 4 missions I do not want to play it again on Legendary solo for another 12 hours.

i played about 2 rounds with my friend now everytime we try to play together on any game type it says failed to connect or kicks one of us out if we do manage to be in a party the game is awesome but its annoying we both were gonna play campain together now i guess we have to wait

Hi guys. I wanted to report a problem I am having as I don't really understand how it has happened. I was playing last night (I pre-ordered from shopto.net and recieved it a day early) and I put my special edition dlc and my shopto pre order bonus dlc codes in and downloaded them. Last night they were working fine and I was using the bonus skins online. I started playing tonight and noticed that my gear had changed. Went to change it back and have now seen that all my dlc gear is gone, like it wasnt ever there.... is anyone else having this problem? If so, is there anyway to get my gear back? Is this a problem on the game's side of things or have I been punished for playing the game early......? any help would be great guys and girls!!

Insert disc 2, that will start the launcher atuomatically, you don't download anything, you transfer files from the disc to your hard drive.
