Tallgeese Posted August 31, 2012 Report Share Posted August 31, 2012 That is correct, the red glowing ball was indeed the Promethean Grenade, and it does function as an energy drain from Halo 3 (less radius however) you could see it bounce off the ground and than explode there for a second. Im not too sure how I feel about the new announcer...it seems like he says everything faster and trying to be more "hip" when he says things like double kill. Im sure I will get used to it, but I really liked the previous announcer and how he really annunciated when saying things. iTz Vplus2 Posted September 1, 2012 Report Share Posted September 1, 2012 Actually, the name of this new grenade is Pulse Grenade. It's also known as EMP grenade. I think that gives a pretty good hint as to what it's used for. I believe it will have the same effect on vehicles that an overcharged plasma pistol shot has.
