  3. Source-Polygon Fable Anniversary, a high-definition remake of the original Fable, will be available on Xbox 360 this holiday season, announced Lionhead Studios' Ted Timmins on Major Nelson's podcast today. Lionhead teased the HD remake earlier today. The studio is remastering Fable: The Lost Chapters, the expanded edition of the game that was released in September 2005 on Windows PC and Xbox and in October 2008 on Mac. The original Fable, a role-playing game designed by Peter Molyneux, launched in September 2004 exclusively on Xbox. "We're really excited to be bringing a remastered version of Fable: The Lost Chapters to the Xbox 360," said Timmins, who is serving as the lead designer of the remake and was a tester on Fable, on Lionhead's website. "It's been one of the biggest community requests as we know how much the fans love the original game." As an Xbox 360 game, Fable Anniversary will offer Achievements, which did not exist on the Xbox. "Fable's always been a bit about choice and consequence, so we're trying to put that into our Achievements," said Timmins on the podcast. Lionhead said it is delivering a "complete HD graphical overhaul," redoing Fable's visuals in 1080p with new Unreal Engine 3-powered lighting and new animation system for faces and cutscenes. The studio is also revamping outdated elements such as the original game's interface and controls, and rebuilding the save system as a modern checkpoint-based setup. In addition, Lionhead is developing SmartGlass integration for Fable Anniversary, with a second-screen experience that offers features like an in-game map and, potentially, the ability to take screenshots. When asked if Fable's pub games could be released on SmartGlass, Timmins said, "We're certainly exploring other avenues, let's say, with SmartGlass ... we've been experimenting; let's leave it at that."

  5. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2EhswZYju0s&feature=c4-overview&list=UUp1tIZVLJk3-ZMm9sn0PtnQ I emailed the Senior Administer from LionHead Studios, and I proposed an interview. The Senior Administers name is Lauren so lets get started. Hello Lauran, Nice to talk with you. I will just ask some questions if you don't mind. How are things going on in LionHeads Development crew? The development crew is good! There are an extremely talented bunch who are all working their socks off to deliver the best of the best to our fans! Whats your thoughts on how the Fable Series is going? Fable is a much loved game, and from the fan mail I’ve been receiving it’s still much loved and our fans are awaiting whatever we give them next. Honestly I love the game, and I have supported it since I was 5 years old,but do you think any old enemys will return like jack of blades? We are re-mastering Fable: The Lost Chapters for HD, so Jack will indeed return later this year. I dont know about you,but I love fable as much as I love halo. Do you guys in the company like playing halo? We have some MEGA Halo fans in the company, and we are close to our development Brothers and Sisters over at 343 Industries. There was lots of whooping at the screening of the Microsoft E3 announce yesterday when Halo 5 was announced! Would you think it would be interesting to have Fable books? We do have Fable Fiction that can be found on our website Thank You For Replying Thank You Lil Dog Please keep an eye on Lionhead.com for details on all future releases from the studio! Thanks, Lauran Senior Administrator Microsoft/LionHead Studios <<it wouldn't let me use the images from the email lol.
  6. Fable: The Journey Gameplay from E3 Now I know this video is kind of old but I haven't seen Fable discussed yet. Maybe that's because it's becoming a forgotten game. I remember playing Fable for countless hours when I was younger but the newer games don't catch my attention as much. The gameplay now features the use of the Xbox 360 Kinect. Here is some gameplay. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oj6oCG2Milk Video Posted on: IGN The game hosts much better graphics than in previous installments but the game has moved into a 1st person point of view. The fighting looks as though it is slowed down almost turn based due to the change in fighting style. This story line is set 50 years after Fable 3, but not many other hints are giving to show if it is connected to previous Fable Games. I will definitely check it out once it comes out because I am still a fan but I am nervous. For full details Click Here The game is set to release October 9, 2012.
  7. So I was thinking, and it'd be cool to start a legend/background story about Spartan-468 (myself). I have a feel simple ideas myself, but I'm gonna need community input if I'm gonna turn it into a small story. I need ideas from everyone, plus ideas for a small intro fan fiction story that I will write. The facts about Spartan-468 so far: -Leader of White Team (last known location of team: Reach) -Last known location: Reach -Crackshot with almost any weapon, but Prefers Sniper and DMR -Favorite weapon: Sniper -Has taken on 10 elite/grunt teams at a time when his team were on board Covenant carrier -Has white armor (awesome white armor) -Has legendary skill with Sniper and DMR, but uses Magnum when needed -HATES assault rifle -Can take out a dozen Covy in about 10 seconds flat, all with head shots, the most time consuming part, being the reload. I can't really think of any more at this time. They dont all have to be true, especially since some are pretty far fetched. But, you guys can help me pick them and add ideas. I also need help coming up with a short fan fiction story about him and White team on Reach. All of white team will die, except him. It should finish with him in a situation where its nigh impossible to get out alive, but it can happen. Cuz he does, duh, or I wouldnt be here! But its supposed to build up mystery about him, you know? And I'm not the best idea man. I can write, but ima need help. All help is appreciated. Thank Guys :unworthy:
