The last month of the year is almost upon us and that means we'll get our very last free games of 2014 from the Games with Gold program. Lets have a look at the games that will see out 2014. For the Xbox One it is just the one game that is going for free next month and that is Worms Battlegrounds Worms Battlegrounds will be available throughout all of December so get it while you can. For the Xbox 360 we'll get our usual two free games and those games will be The Raven: Legacy of a Master Thief and SSX. images from majornelson.com The Raven will available first to download and that will be from December 1st through December 15th. SSX will take over and it will be free from December 16th through December 31st. As the month of November rolls in so do more free games for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 with the Games With Gold program. First up there will only be one new free game to download for the Xbox One and that is Volgarr the Viking, the latest Indie Game from Microsoft's ID@Xbox program. Crimson Dragon will most likely be rolling over again as Xbox One's second free game. Volgarr the Viking will be available to download for free throughout all of November. All images are from majornelson.com For the Xbox 360 Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise will be first to download for free starting from November 1st through November 15th. After that Red Faction: Guerrilla takes over as Xbox 360's second free game for November and that will be available to download from November 16th - 30th. I've found three great articles that hopefully you all love! View attachment: WNW 91314.JPG GTA V Gets Confirmed Release Date on PS4, Xbox One, and PC Grand Theft Auto V, the hype couldn't escape us last year and it likely won't this year either, as GTA V is on the horizon. Polygon.com states that Rockstar has placed a confirmed release date for the current generation versions and the PC versions, though PC users might be disappointed. The game will launch on November 18th on Xbox One and PS4, and launch January 27th on PC. As well as having a flux of better graphics and smoother frame rate, the game will also include new weapons, cars, wildlife, and activities, as well as improvements to damage and weather. If you're one of the four people that cares, there are 100 new songs on the radio station and new mixes. Online will see improvements like an enhanced player count for up to 30 players and the ability to transfer characters across consoles (I.E. PS3 > Xbox One, Xbox 360 > PS4, etc). As well, transferring will unlock bonus content if you completed the prologue on PS3 or Xbox 360. And finally if you pre-order you get an in-game bonus of half a million GTA dollars for single player use and half a million GTA dollars for online. Blue Xbox 360, 500GB Call of Duty Bundle, and Kinect Bundle Announced Microsoft is doing a great job showing that they still care about their previous generation console, the Xbox 360, with this new set of bundles. Xbox.com announced the three new bundles available in store October 7th, a Blue Xbox 360 exclusive to Walmart, a Call of Duty Bundle, and a bundle with Kinect. The first bundle is the Call of Duty Bundle releasing this fall, and it includes a 500GB black Xbox 360, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Call of Duty: Ghosts, one month of Xbox Live Gold, and the typical controller. This bundle will launch for $249 USD and will be available in the usual stores. The next bundle is a Kinect Bundle, including, again, the black Xbox 360, now 4GB, a black Kinect, Kinect Adventures and Forza Horizon, and a month of Gold and the controller. This bundle is the same as the last in terms of pricing, $249, and will be available everywhere. The final bundle is exclusive to Walmart and includes a blue Xbox 360, for $249. GameInformer.com has some news you might like if you're a PayDay fan and a Hotline Miami fan on PC. The two game's developers have teamed up for a neon themed PayDay 2 add-on exclusive to PC. A short teaser (visible on the link page) shows off some possible additions, new masks, maps, modes, weapons, etc. As of now though, news is slim, but we have a confirmed release date of September 30th, 2014. And of course the game will likely be outfitted in Hotline Miami's signature style of flashy neon. Games with Gold this month offers Crimson Dragon and Strike Suit Zero for the Xbox One while Motocross Madness and Dishonored will be available for the Xbox 360. Super Turbo Championship Edition for the Xbox One with the Games with Gold program. The other free game for the Xbox One will still be Max: The Curse of Brotherhood and that will continue to be available for free until the end of July. Up first for the Xbox 360 in July is Gotham City Imposters, it is available for free from July 1st - 15th. From July 16th - 31st Battle Block Theater will then be free to download. The Games With Gold program will start this June for the Xbox One announced by Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer. Yes Games With Gold launches on the Xbox One in June, which is a lot sooner than what a lot of people expected, the launch is to mark the one year anniversary when it first launched on the Xbox 360. The two games that will be available to download for free are "Max: The Curse of Brotherhood" and "Halo: Spartan Assault." Phil Spencer made the announcement earlier today on Xbox Wire. "The program will launch on Xbox One with “Max: The Curse of Brotherhood” and “Halo: Spartan Assault.” A single Gold membership will get you access to the free games for both Xbox One and Xbox 360." Max: The Curse of Brotherhood that released just last December is a 2-D side scrolling game developed by Press Play which is a sequel to "Max & The Magic Marker". Halo: Spartan Assault originally came out for Microsoft Windows and Windows Phone last year and then released on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. There will also be three titles to download for free in June for Xbox 360 users, the additional title on top of the two gold subscribers originally get is also to celebrate the one year anniversary. The three free games are "Dark Souls,” “Charlie Murder” and “Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition.” So by looks of this announcement Xbox 360 users will get a total of five games for free in June as they can also get the two free games that are coming to the Xbox One. Halo is coming to MineCraft: Xbox 360 Edition! Halo Waypoint's Twitter tweeted the above photo earlier today along with the caption: "Yes, this is happening. #XBLA" Little is know about this other than the screenshot above, but it appears to be a Halo themed Mash Pack- DLC for Minecraft that features music, various re-skinned blocks and items, and character skins. (Similar to the Mass Effect and Skyrim mash packs previously released.) From the screenshot above we can see that whatever the content is, it will likely feature UNSC Computer systems, sand bag barriers, a needler, and a Halo ring that spans the sky. If this is a Halo themed mashup pack, you can expect it to cost about $3.99 USD. Though little is known at the moment, you can expect to see more on this in the coming weeks, as we look towards what will likely be the first Halo mashup pack for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition. Hello Fellow Gamers of Halo! My GT is Burdened Legacy, I'm the leader for a Military based clan and am looking for two things. The first, recruits. I want to add more people to my clan same as any other. The second, is alliances and rivals. Right now my clan is around 20+ and if your a lone wolf I can respect that. That goes for people in clans already. But, if you'd like to join, message me or Omicron Legacy. We only ask that you change your emblem and something we can identify you easily. Right now, we are focused on Reach, but moving to Halo 4 as well. Aside from being in the clan, when you join, you will be put in a small team to easily know the clan. You will train with this team and you will battle with this team. Each team is around 4 to 6 players and 3 teams make a platoon.
