  1. Johnsons death served to piss off the player. Make him want to end that fricking lightbulb.
  2. Scarabs, lichs (super phantom from campaign) war sphinxes? (I am not letting this idea go)
  3. Odd. People complained about how dumb the flood were. And now we want them back. How fickle of the halo community.
  4. Why? I frequently see elite warriors (essentially the generals from reach) wielding tiny plasma pistols, which they never even overcharge. It confuses me on why a mighty high ranking elite would pick the most common and weak weapon in the covenant arsenal as his only weapon.
  5. ODST: marine jurisdiction, but they operate more so are their own unit, conducting a wide variety of operations, and allowed to use whatever weapons they pleased.
  6. The covenant can't really do anything to earth. And that just seemed like halo 2 déjà vu.
  7. That would destroy every single purpose for cortana. She has always been there to save chief when he needed saving. It's not in her nature to turn her back on chief.
  8. It's not a good prospect, it's designed to make the player angry, and more importantly, make chief angry. Everyone he ever cared for is dead. Worse. They died for nothing, so all thats left on chiefs mind is to end the didacts wretched life.
  9. Dual wielding yes. But only with secondaries. Though sword plus pistol would be amazing. Melee with dual secondaries also.
  10. English ************, do you speak it? All that happened is he got composed. So now he is like an evil cortana almost. He has no body to be destroyed.
  11. But in mass effect 3, you were still trying to save earth. It hadn't been totally destroyed. This would be different. You failed. Earth is gone. What's left? Infinity and a few colonies in Leonis minoris?
  12. Campaign. All the halos needed a good campaign. Halo 4 should have had a longer one, but it told a good story.
  13. On easy every player has 4 extra lives, on normal and heroic, 3 lives, on legendary, 2 lives, but you can call I extra support after your meter fills up, like personal ordinance, you can get stuff like warthogs, spartan four teams, marine platoons, heavy weapons, and even tanks if you get enough.
  14. ODST had an amazing campaign (legendary was the best) the atmosphere was so well done. Firefight was amazing, and Mombassa streets rewarded stealth. You couldn't stealth past everything, but you could make a stand, you could ambush, you could gun past brutes in a mongoose. It made you feel vulnerable. Brought you down to earth. Reach, with its health system, should have had an ODST with the same ability to carry over armor, with a sandbox environment, lots of drops, following the story of how buck escaped reach. The best they could do with halo 4 was follow the story of the ODST teams on sanghellios in the civil war.
  15. Because I have never seen a guide on who is who. Army troopers: most common ally, found on all levels. Most wear green fatigues w khaki armor. Does vary. Marines: only seen on the last part of pillar of autumn. Wear brownish armor and enclosed helmets. Never use DMRs unless given to them. Air Force EVA: allies on long night of solace aboard the covie ship.
  16. The giant space monkeys were good opponents in ODST, but the brutes could come back as slavers, taking humans or elites and selling them as slaves.
  17. I thought the whole noble 6 giving Keyes cortana seemed kinda pointless. Instead of that, they should have just kept the "losing battle" vibe going.
  18. Scarabs, lichs, and war sphinxes. Maybe brutes and skirmishers for nostalgia. I also want ODST teammates that you could call in.
  19. Sure, I like the idea of earth being destroyed, infinity and the few human colonies that survived the covenant to be all that is left, and maybe a few scarab and sphinx fights too.
  20. Spartan-2s: A bunch of total badasses that can take on a covenant army with a toothpick and win. Very expensive, and with a high rate of deformities. Many came out sociopathic, but most of blue team was about as close to human as possible, they joked, blue team was devastated after Sam died. Very few survivors left. Spartan-3s: easier to make Spartans with cheaper armor. Fell under army jurisdiction, instead of ONI. Most were sent on tactically vital suicide missions, but some were hand picked to bolster spartan-2 ops. Many Spartans died so that the UNSC would have enough time to prepare for major battles. Spartan-4s: mostly UNSC ODSTs, they are experienced, and well trained, but not as mechanical and disciplined as the famous twos. They suffer from somewhat of a god complex, as before, they were already elite fighting badasses, but now, they can throw cars. Yeah. They come across as jerks, but when it hits the fan, they will do anything to succeed.
  21. Totally. I liked reach more than any halo. (Yes, even 3) the DMR was a much better marksman weapon than the BR, and everything just handled better.
  22. I think that we need a more diverse team of co-op players, instead of them all being chief, how about this, 1:chief 2: arbiter 3: Buck (as a spartan-4) 4: some other spartan, maybe a surviving blue team member. Maybe Thorne, he is the only new spartan that isn't an ***.
  23. I'd assume many of them went home and raised families. But knowing buck, he would probably join the spartan fours. They need someone as tough as him to make up for the total idiots like Palmer and all of majestic. (Though Thorne is pretty cool)
