exactly! I should have never been able to win that game! That's no balance that's just stupid. That's not fun that's lame. Do you like playing games with a friend who lets you win? Or is that lame and boring? The losing team is given a thousand gifts and opportunities to come back and that's lame as hell. Not more challenging just annoying. Not more balanced, just lame.

one of the great things about halo was that when you are good you are awarded. One of those awards was the ability to rape ***. I don't get that thrill anymore. That sheer enjoyment out of beating *** of a bunch of noobs. That's all gone replaced by a bland sense of eh I won who cares. If you say you don't care about winning why are you playing? Just to rack up kills game after game? That's lame and gets boring and stale very fast. I play to win and to feel good when I do win. Now I can't even talk **** and say yo nice job you went 9 and 30 lol. Why? Because the guy who went 9 and 30 probably joined the game with 2 mins left anyway so it has nothing to do with how well he did that round. That's why no one talks anymore. Because no one cares anymore.

nah no way! All previous halos used the same method and it worked great. It made you want to try and made you have some level of intimacy with your team. Now you have no clue who is coming or going. Not do you even care. That's why no one even talks! The harm it does far outweighs the good and I knew this from playing the pc version of halo which had something similar. In pc halo the same problem. People would pop in and out of game types and it became rare to care about your team.

you're a clown lol finally got you to agree huh? . Yea this is a deal breaker for me and only adds to the chaotic feel of matchmaking. It's like you almost don't even feel the score anymore during the game until the round is over and you say. Wait did we win? The matchmaking is all over the place.

Played big team. I was thrown into the game where my team was losing by 200 PTs. Suddenly their team started dropping out. We came back and won by 100pts. Within 2 mins we tied the game. 1 min we were in Massive lead. Imagine how the other team felt? Dude I was kicking your *** and made your team quit. Now within 3 minutes I'm losing and game over. I was also on the losing end of this a bunch of times. Why should the opposing team get second and third chances if they are getting raped? Makes trying to win feel like a roll of the dice and makes you not care anymore. I'm trying really hard to make myself like this game. Like swallowing some awful rotten food thinking it might be good for me. But every time I give it a chance I find something else horribly wrong, annoying, and frustrating. This game is a joke made to cater to noobs and an attempt to make it more accessible to the people without hand eye coordination. Even they could eek out a win now.

10 less people? Lol. Try 900k less. Those numbers are staggering. Hardly something you can predict. It only illustrates failure and the need for massive overhaul.

it matters because it illustrates what most of us are feeling. That the game simply sucks. That's why it matters. And that matters because we love halo and we don't want it to suck. It's that simple!

actually I have halo for pc and its awesome! The problem is the lag is terrible and also the matchmaking is stupid because it does what this game does...though it does it by giving you the choice...it allows you to enter in the mid of a game! That is how I knew when 343 announced something similar it would be horrible. It takes away from the personal side of the game. No one cares about a team anymore because they just bounce in and out of games. reach was more of a touch of nostalgia than 4 lol. Hell they even had halo 2 maps in there. How is 4 nostalgic?? Because you play a spartan? Lol. That's about the extent of nostalgia there. that's the only reason I started posting here. To voice my concerns and dislike for what 343 did to our beloved game. Otherwise I would be playing it instead of ranting about it on a forum. I'll stop when they bring halo back. And if you don't like it don't read it. This is a videogame with a specific style that doesn't work if altered. I present you with super Mario world and paper Mario as perfect examples. Both Mario but one obviously better and has been repeated dozens of times using the same formula.

the thing is they only sold that many copies because of the franchise built by bungie. So you can't judge by those numbers. Everyone expected something and didn't get it which is why you go by the numbers of how many people are still playing it a month later. exactly! so halo only had a core of 100k people? They should come out with an update changing everything back to the old ways then issue an apology for forgetting us.

I guarantee cod would lose players and following. It's users would be up in arms! The reason cod has been successful again and again is that they care about their core and understand the business. 343 fails to understand simple logic. Super Mario games have been the same for 30 years. That's why a 2.5d version of it can still sell a wii u! If it ain't broke don't fix it! 343 will not bring back the old style of gameplay or at least that of reach because it would be like admitting they ****** up to begin with. At this point it's too late to turn around. Whole thing is sad.

this really has nothing to do with why this game has failed. It failed because it deviated from its roots. Like any other business or product. If you deviate from where you came from, you lose your fan base and creating a new one is hard to do because the "new one" already has their mind made up about your product without even trying it. That said if halo 4 was a good game people would play it. Period. But it isn't and that's why we see the massive numbers leaving the game. Hence fail.

you're a sensitive one aren't you? Or are you just playing sensitive to cover for a point you don't have? if the game was well done and it was what people wanted then they would be playing it. Period. These are just excuses for failure. I think you meant that the other way around because bungie didn't make 4. you can stand by your claim all you want it doesn't make it correct. 100k people on a million dollar franchise is a failure. That's a fact not opinion. I would have fired the CEO and restructured the company if I was Microsoft and I just dumped millions of dollars into having this game made only to result in lackluster numbers like that. halo 3 is no longer supported. Games lag and maps are not updated. Duh. Complaining is the only way to make 343 bring back the halo that had 500k or more people playing at any given time. Not that caters to 100k fanboys who like anything put in front of them. Duh

dude you're lame as hell. Give it a break already. You're just plain wrong. When you have sword in any other halo you can rack up double and triple kills like crazy in one round. In halo 4 this is rare to impossible. I've played dozens of games in 4 and no one ever uses the sword. Boltshot is chosen all the time and no point in even chasing for the sword. You must be chasing some fantasy because what you're saying is just not true and maybe is something that happened to you in one game out of 100. I will bet you 1000$ that what you're describing actually happens 1 in a million games when the other team is so bad they walk into walls all game. Otherwise sword is pointless. By far one of the weakest weapons in this game! And it was once king of weapons. You're going to sit here and argue that it has the same value it once had then no point in arguing with you because you're either blind or a plain idiot who likes arguing just because.
